Questions for this shipment:

Question: when are you looking for shipment of your bike?? nice color!! looking at being in your pick up area mid march ,,would this time frame work for you?? thanks earthworm-alternative transport- (2/20/2008)
Response: Hello sir, It's for my brother and he was hoping it could be picked up before next Wednesday. However, if it can't be done prior to that, the guy selling it will be gone until March 11. How much do you want to for shipping? Thank you, David Harris (2/20/2008)
Response: hello Mr Harris, I don't wont to put a big # on there, others read the Qs and As, but I could do 0.28 a mile, at 2160 its 604.80,, we as transporters, try to get 0.50 a mile for bikes, but I have a trailer move mid march that the bike will go "IN", not on, for your shipment click on my name and look at my profile and feedback,, thanks for the rapid responce,, earthworm (2/20/2008)
Response: When I did an estimation for the shipping on uShip, it came back at an average cost of $484. Let me see what other bids come in and I'll let you know. When do you have to know for sure? Thanks, David Harris (2/20/2008)
Response: my dates are some what of 2/3 weeks from now,, do not have a solid date as of yet,, ??I do not know how that average thing works?? take in to consideration of fuel, it just jumped 0.20./0.25 a gallon ! ! I am booking this ride on the 1st and 2nd shipments to set my route, VA to CA.. please take the time to check out my feedback and profile,, I will not be the low bid , but I will be ball park,, I pride myself in what I do, and the effort I put forth,, thanks again earthworm (2/20/2008)
Response: Hello sir, Your ratings are great. I appreciate that you are a professional at what you do. My brother wants to wait a day or two to see if someone can pick up the bike before next Wednesday Feb. 28. If not, you are likely the carrier will will use. Please be patient for a couple days to see what happens. I'll let you know either way. Thank you, David Harris (2/21/2008)
Response: thank you David, I do pride my self in what I do, and I try to do the very best that I can possibly do,, I do fully understand that you wont to get the bike in a time frame that suits all involved, and at a with-in reason rate!.!. I do try to be a patient individual, that's why I starting now on the trailer move I have in mid march, just trying to get some loads in it to comp for this krazy fuel spike, it jumped 0.25 a gal, in a week, here in TX!!! please let me know if I can be of assistance, thanks again earthworm (2/21/2008)
Response: Good morning, Could you please post a bid? I'm going to try and get my brother to make a selection today. Thank you, David Harris (2/22/2008)
Response: good morning Mr Harris, yes sir, I will place the bid ,, thanks again earthworm (2/22/2008)
Question: Hello - would shipper place & secure bike to suitable skid / long pallet or even crate it for common carrier service? ... THX (2/21/2008)
Response: I am expecting one more bid today. If it's okay, I'll let you know by the end of today. You have impressive feedback. Thank you for your bid and God Bless, David Harris (2/22/2008)
Response: Understand & do thank you for the complement ... however, if you do get a service offer for bike to handled as a "roller" in a suitably enclosed trailer then I would certainly consider ... as an alternate option, and for common carrier service, bike would have to be "packaged up"; that is carrier must be able to handle as "palletized or skidded" freight ... regardless of who you use, would also suggest you get a primary coverage insurance rider ... Thanks for replying ... (2/22/2008)
Response: I assume from your email that yo do not require skidded, palletized, etc? Also, how does payment work? Do you accept COD? (2/22/2008)
Response: I see in reading my previous response, it could have been easily miss-understood; what I meant to say was that if you do get a suitable offer to handle the bike as a "roller", then that would be a good offer for you to consider ... I on the other hand for common carrier service could not accept it unless skidded or crated ... it is a very nice looking bike!!! (2/22/2008)
