Question: We will be heading north to Oregan late next week, and could transport your bike enclosed/insured for $250. Im sorry but $100. just is not much. to even pay for the time to drive to two locations then load/unload and tie down and untie. We use wheel chocks and soft-straps and have 100% positive feedback. Thank you for your response. I am sorry, I hope I did not come across as someone with a low ball offer. You see the only other time I shipped a bike it was from Ohio to Sunnyvale, CA. A very similar bike. It cost me $450. The person who did the shipping was a really nice guy and the bike arrived in perfect condition. Going off of that, I figured that from Southern California to Northern California shouldn't be that much. So I put in my target price.The other thing is that I was actually just going to rent a truck, drive down and pick up the bike.That was going to run me about $150 (truck rental,gas etc) Hence I figured that when it is being done in bulk it possibly could be done for $100.
Anyway thank you for letting me know that it is a really low amount. Let me see what I can come up with,because like I told you if it is too expensive then I might just have to drive down myself and get it. Let me know what you guys could do it for. Thank you so much.
