Question: When can it be picked up? (8/19/2008)

Response: Hello,
I have sent the seller a check on Tuesday it will be friday before he gets it. He says after he gets the check it can be picked up 24/7 if you give him 1 hour notice. If you get this load I would like for you to handle the pickup date & time with the seller. He gave me his cell number and I will pass that along. As for dropping it off, we are not home on weekends, But I can make shure we are if I know it's going to be here. I did plan on going away this weekend but can cancel.
Thanks,
Wayne (8/19/2008)

Response: Just checking back to see if you still needed this transported. I purchased a dump truck in that area and it appears I'll have to haul it back to MO myself. Maybe we can coordinate some kind of date-time if you still need this picked up. Thanks ... (9/3/2008)

Response: Hello, I still need this item picked up. Seller has got his check, So it's ok to pickup. My last shipper backed out. Seller says he only needs one hour notice before pickup but it's best to give more. NOTE: This is a non running van! Thanks, Wayne (9/3/2008)

Response: Wayne...Thanks, I'm not concerned about it not running, however it needs to be accessible and rolling. The trailer I'd like to use has a Warn 16.5 ti winch capable of pulling about anything on to the trailer. I would like to know the length from bumper to bumper. That will determine which trailer I would need to use. I'm located about 175 miles from your pickup point, and unfortuantely it is not on the way. That would add some cost for me, although I have not calculated an exact bid as of yet. The truck I need to pick up and bring back here to Southeast MO is located north of Elkhart, IN so there would be few additional miles to my route. I'm not trying to deter you, just attempting to work out something cost effective for both of us. I can go about any time since I own the truck in IN and yours has been cleared and ready for pick up. My best guesstimate at the moment would be this weekend or early next week. Let me know the length and maybe this work. Thanks // Don (9/3/2008)

Response: Hi Don, I've contacted the seller to get the length of this of this van but could not get a hold of him at this time I left a message. The paper work on the van lists it as 118" but that maybe the wheel base. When he calls me back I can give you the over all length. Please feel free to submit your bid at anytime. Thanks, Wayne (9/3/2008)

Response: Wayne... Thanks again. I won't submit a bid until we have all the details and dates worked out and an agreement. I like my perfect feedback and zero cancellations, so I wouldn't want to risk messing that up even though I'm no longer routinely hauling for hire. Please note my authority (MC#) is inactive and I do not offer cargo insurance. I'm simply trying to work this in conjunction with a load I must haul for myself. I need to leave this with the last question to you, because if you respond and there is no pending question from me, you'll be unable answer. Thanks again ... /// Don (9/3/2008)

Response: Hi Don, The van is 17'8" rounded off to 18'. As far as a pickup date goes this would have to setup with the seller(I can call him if you wish or give you his number). Delivery can be made at anytime, Just need to know about what time & day. No cargo insurance is not an issue. Thanks, Wayne (9/4/2008)

Response: Wayne...
Thanks for getting back to me and the length would have been fine for that trailer. Unfortunately, I have contracted with a uShip TSP to transport my truck and I now have no need for a shipment going in to that area. I selected a TSP, uShip ID "Shotgun" to transport the truck. It might be worthwhile for you to request a bid from him for the Sprinter. I talked to him last night on the phone and I'm confident his service will be excellent and his feedback on uShip is all positive. I'm sorry we couldn't work something out, however I couldn't pass on the opportunity to hire a good TSP who would do the job for about what it would have cost me to do the trip myself. Good luck with your shipment. Thanks again... // Don (9/4/2008)

Response: Hi Don, Thanks anyway. Shotgun has asked about this load. Wayne (9/4/2008)
