Response: I would move your bike as if it was my own. I'm sure you have seen bikes in the back of trucks before. Same thing. I do not like to put covers on anything except a enclosed trailer. It would not be air tight meaning it will be flapping in the wind which may cause scratches. No crating on my end. If it is crated you would need a forklift on both ends unless someone has a lift gate and pallet jack. If you wait long enough you will be some bids for enclosed which is what you may want. Yes being open would expose it to the same elements as if you were riding. Read my description in my profile for the rest of your concerns. DOT (department of transportation).
