Question: Could bike be p/u any earlier and do you have a target price? Thanks Terry. (2/6/2009)

Response: The bike can be picked up anytime starting now. (2/6/2009)

Response: Make sure that before you accept any bids based upon price or feedback that you first verify that your transporter has the proper authority (DOT/MC#) and will they provide your bike with cargo insurance incase of theft or damage. All motorcycle transporters are required to be registered with the Dept. of Transportation and have insurance. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page to CATEGORIES you can CLICK ON (motorcycle shipping) Uship has provided you with a way to help you select a proper transporter, make sure to ask for DOT#. Thanks Terry. (2/6/2009)

Response: I am now ready to accept the bid. My buyer wired the money and we are good to go. Please let me know how to accept your bid.
Thank you.

Response: Trying to get ahold of my driver to see where he is at. (2/13/2009)

Response: Great. Thank you. (2/13/2009)

Response: When can this be p/u at the earliest as my driver has passed by your p/u point as is currently over in Jersey as we speak? Iwould have to bid more as we would have to incur more miles back to p/u bike and would have to pay 2 more bridge tolls on the Tappan Zee Bridge. Sorry, I was hoping you would accept bid before we have passed the p/u point. Seems to be our luck, let me know. Terry. (2/13/2009)

Response: You can pick up anytime now. How much more? (2/13/2009)

Response: My driver is in New Brunswick N.J. waiting on a customer to deliver 3 bikes. His GPS puts him about 160 mile from you, I would have about $75.00 extra in fuel plus my drivers pay and plus toll bridges, I would incur about $200.00 in extra expenses, I would have to split it with you and that is the best I could do it for would be about an extra $100.00??? Sorry but that what it would cost. Thanks and let me know and I will resubmit a bid, Thanks Terry. (2/13/2009)

Response: No problem. I understand. Let's do it. (2/13/2009)

Question: if you have some flex in the time line we can move you for 475.00 (2/6/2009)

Response: That would be great. What are your needs relative to flexibility? (2/6/2009)

Response: i have 1 truck that will be there tomorrow for a pick up and can be to you in about 5 or so days and i have another truck that be there proble wensday space should be fine and will be about 7 days or so before you , if can be on the truck tomorrow would be great (2/6/2009)

Response: I can't ship before Tuesday. The buyer is wiring the $$ to pay for the bike on Monday. Earliest could be Monday eve. Wednesday will work though. (2/6/2009)

Response: we can work with the tuseday or wensday with the other truck (2/6/2009)

Response: Great. Assuming I am paid via wire transfer on Monday, I will set this up for immediate pick-up as quickly as possible. I don't want to book it until the money is paid. It should be Monday so I anticipate contacting you Monday afternoon or evening.
Thank you. (2/6/2009)

Response: smart man we do a ton of buying and selling and do all buy wires to hassle free , if you need me to rebid let me know we will get you handdle thansk jim (2/7/2009)

Question: Are you the buyer or the seller? (2/6/2009)

Response: I'm the seller. (2/6/2009)

Response: Who is the paying for shipping? (2/7/2009)

Response: I am. (2/7/2009)

Response: If you go to my Uship profile you can click on my DOT or MC# you can verify my Legal Authority and my insurance coverage that is on file with the Dept. of Transportation. (2/7/2009)

Question: For insurance purposes, what would the replacement value $$$ of the bike be? (2/6/2009)

Response: APprox $22,000 (2/6/2009)

Response: We have cargo insurance valued at $100,000, this will protect your buyers bike in transit from theft and/or damage. Make sure to verify transporters insurance before you accept bid, most transporters are transporting more than 1 bike at a time and if they do not have the right amount to cover for in case of a loss who will pay? (2/7/2009)

Response: How much is the cost of this insurance? (2/7/2009)

Response: My cargo insurance is included in my bid so your customers bike will be covered by my insurance ($100,000) and we increase the amount of coverage per load depending on total replacement value per bike. I HIGHLY recommend that you verify transporters Legal Authority (DOT/MC#) and the Insurance coverage that will be provided by your transporter. I will match any bid price if they have DOT/MC# and are providing your shipment with cargo insurance. We may not be the cheapest but we are Legal and insured. Make sure to review customer feedback to help you determine the type of transporter that you want to use. Thanks for your time, Terry. (2/7/2009)

Response: Terry:
Thanks. I will get back to you shortly. I have a price of $45o right now and am trying to obtain the info regarding Insurance. I will get back to you shortly. If we get it together, when can you pick up and deliver?
E. (2/7/2009)

Response: Hi Earl, if you click on my DOT # you can verify my Legal Authority and can also see that I have Insurance on file with the Dept. of Transportation. Also, I can have my Insurance agent fax you a copy of my cargo insurance as well. I wish that I could do this for a cheaper rate but I have alot of overhead with being a Compliant (legal) transporter, its better to pay more knowing that you have selected the right transporter for your customers shipment. We can p/u bike within the next 5 days and would need atleast 7 days to deliver. Thanks for your time, Terry. (2/7/2009)

Response: Terry:
What was yout last price? (I apologize as I have had a lot of responses from various carriers and I can't recall whose bid was whose. I read a lot of your customer feedback and it looks good. Also, I checked for the DOT insurance info on some others and it was a little scarce / sketchy. In any event, if you can get me your last best bid, that would be helpful. Also, if you can verify a pick-up and delivery date after this coming Monday (2/9/09) that would be great.
Thank you very much.
