Question: Hello - I'm interested in DRIVING your VW Touareg, CA, for you. Do you have a preferred pick-up or delivery date in mind? Time in transit would be four to five days, weather and road conditions permitting. Once dates are agreed upon, they are guaranteed; no windows or estimates. The car would need to be insured and licensed (or have a temp tag). If you're at all interested, please review my profile and feedback; 100%~no negatives, neutrals, or cancellations in over three years and seventy-five plus matches; I'm as reliable as the sun, well..almost. Please don't trust your nice car to someone or a company that you know little about or with less than excellent feedback. Having your car professionally driven is considered safer (Federal Consumer Affairs Agency) and more convenient than having it carried or towed. Response: Hi - Thank you for your prompt and polite response. Unless you are planning on completely filling the Touareg with boxes, I think you'll find it's actually easier to find someone to drive it, than haul it. Most carriers won't allow much to be put inside the car; there are exceptions. It doesn't matter that the inside rear view mirror is blocked as long as both outside mirrors are functional; most motorhomes and eighteen-wheelers do not even have inside rear view mirrors. For some education on the automobile shipping industry you might want to check transportreviews. If you reconsider and would like a competitive bid, just let me know. Good luck. Question: Hey Shipper Was just curious if price or speed of delivery were your biggest concerns, I monitor all the trucks traversing over your route, so I can always identify who has what truck space and even how much their other loads are paying. Hopefully getting a driver to take your load as their last spot to be able to leave full, at the lowest price; That takes a bit of flexibility on your end (but still a very reasonable time frame for delivery), or we can identify a price that would move the car more quickly. Question: Hang in there, I know we are slow on the commitment for our enclosed. I also can/will not compete in the price war, so if you want to go with the cheapest, we'll understand.
