Additional Information: Can be palletized, crated or ratchet strapped to 4 points. If possible I would prefer to ride along and could pay fuel costs along the way. I also have a small amount of musical equipment I would like transported together or can be shipped separately or left behind. I would prefer covered cargo space but open is acceptable. To reduce cost I may possibly be able to have my shipment trailered to meet you in nearby city such as Utica or Syracuse. Also, drop off point could possibly be up to 200 miles before listed destination if absolutely necessary or if it could save me cost considerably. I can be ready on short notice. Report a Violation

Question: This can be shipped via freight. Less than truckload shipments must be crated and must conform to NMFC Packaging Standards. The item must be crated prior to pickup. Response: My bike weighs 700 lbs with accessories, will be secured on 3'x8' pallet and crated x4' high with Aspenite panel sheathing attached to 1"x2" framework. I would estimate the weight at 1,000 lbs. maximum, probably less. (11/12/2007)
Question: Hello I would like to talk to you about your shipment. I'm Tim I own Strictly Business Moving Inc. You have a lot included in your Additional Comments section. What time frame are you looking for ? Do you still want to ride along ? Can you arrange for drop off in the Sacramento,CA area? The bike will NOT need crated or anything like that It only needs less than a 1/4 tank of fuel. Also your additional musical items, What are they? how many of them, and they wouldn't need crated either. I have professional moving quilts to protect all your Items and I have etrack on my floor and sides of my truck to secure you bike and all items so they are motionless and totally secure for the cross country shipment. I use ONLY soft touch tie downs. I look forward to talking to you. Response: I'm flexible on when to leave. I'd like to ride along and the Sacramento area would be fine as the destination. I'd prefer to leave very soon after Dec 1 or 8 but could leave sooner if necessary. Regarding my musical stuff, it consists of a guitar, small amp head, 2 compact 15" speaker cabinets, a tiny 12" monitor speaker and small amount of personal luggage, all will fit tight around my bike in about a 3'x8' space. Response: Hello and Thanks for your reply. I would be happy to take your belongings but I will be stopping at my parents in Ohio for Thanksgiving and I would be picking up your things around the 19th to the 21st of NOV. After my stop at my parents in Ohio I have several p/ups one in TN, one in WI and a couple others as well. So delivery would be 6 to 12 days after p/up . If you could get a ride to somewhere close to Ohio , You could ride with from there. Total cost for you and the items would be shipping would be about $990.00 . the other quote you have for 500 something isn't including anything except the bike and it would have to be crated according to they're specs and that would ost a couple hundred if you had it built. Response: Hi Tim, Thanks for trying to work out the logistics with me. At this point the $538 offer door to door is the most practical (the bike doesn't need crating). If I fly to San Francisco for $250 and UPS my guitar separate for $40 I'm at the same cost as your offer without trying to get to Ohio.
