Please understand I am not new to uship.com, thus the reason for what you are about to read.

I am the customer, the paying party, therefore I believe I am entitled to certain rights I don't feel are unreasonable. If you do not accept them, please do not bid.

The bike has had many detailed pictures taken, all scratches, nicks and damage has been documented. The mileage has been documented. The bike will receive a thorough inspection upon delivery. If any significant and unreasonable damage is noticed, legal action may be taken. Purchasing insurance is and should NOT be required for the delivery driver to be responsible, and careful around other people's property.

NOTICE TO DRIVERS WITH UNRELIABLE EQUIPMENT: If your truck is not reliable and is prone or expeted to break down, please don't bid. This vehicle needs to meet the timeframe specified.

NOTICE TO BAIT-AND-SWITCH DRIVERS: The price you bid is what you are willing to take in TOTAL for the shipment. It is contractural, NO addition monies for costs such as tolls, labor or fuel for exmaple will be paid out. What you bid is what you get! Violators will be reported to uship. Report a Violation

Question: Chris: Contrarily, I AM pretty new to uShip and I don't disagree with anything you've written caveat-wise. I'm in Wilkes-Barre and headed to, and immediately returning from Roswell GA Easter weekend and will bring the bike back to you. It'll be padded and strapped in (16 foot Penske boxtruck) and cared for like it is my own. Will do it for $325. and await your reply. Joel BestDarnMovers (3/30/2007)
Response: Tempting. I would like to see more references, I've visited the emove.com website but couldn't verify your references. Also, would you have a problem with providing the orgin with state issued photo ID and the number of the Penske truck you are using? Question: Chris: Sorry but to-date we've done only the one uShip job and the eMove references are what they are- customer comments. So far there is nothing else in the truck but that could change; anything in the truck will be tied away from bike. Response: Joel, so basically you are helping someone move items such as furniture to GA, and will be heading home empty? I was asking if you could furnish state issued photo ID to the person whom I bought the bike from, if the deal were to go through. And the eMove comments are exactly what I wanted to see, but I apparently don't know how to find them. I went on eMove.com, and clicked "Find helpers" and entered your ZIP- nothing came up. Question: Response to your reply, Chris, of 3/30. Yes exactly- doing a household move to Roswell GA. Will gladly furnish license info and copy of driving record & anything else. Our BDM info should pop up on eMove; just follow the links from moving helpers. Aside from that- sorry been so busy. Response: Joel, thank you for your reply. I really do wish we could do business together, as I can tell you are a person with high integrity, and by your excellent English and grammar, I can tell you are honest, trustworthy and intelligent. Unfortunately, I have some disturbing news. The dealer in which I purchased this bike from isn't exactly the easiest to work with. So far they have left me feeling regret in regard to the purchase from them. I emailed them as a heads up that I will have the motorcycle shipped instead of of me picking it up, and they said they will only meet you Mon-Fri. They also are concerned about their feedback being held hostage for any damage they suspect you may cause. They really don't seem too concerned about my needs, do they? So, before you place your bid, ask yourself if you can pick the bike up on a week day. I highly doubt they will be willing to meet up with you on a weekend, especially a holiday weekend. (4/1/2007)

Question: Chris; Thanks-so-much for the very, (overly) kind words which btw, made my wife roll her eyes. RE the bike- I'm sure I can get there Friday before 2pm so shouldn't be a problem. The dealer is more than welcome to pad & strap the bike in himself in which case I'd gladly (reasonably) compensate him for his services. Can't say I blame him- reputation is nearly everything. Response: Joel, that's great news. The seller is VERY concerned with his reputation and liability of the bike after it's left his possession. He wanted some documentation that you both sign, where he may keep a copy, stating that he is not responsible for damages after it's left his possession. I told him I'm more than positive you could furnish such documents. Could you please place your bid, and I will accept.
