Question: I use an enclosed trailer for all my transports and it is the safest way to ship a motorcycle these days. Ever wonder why you see all the new car companies now shrink wrapping their new cars on the open transports you see going down the highways? Its because of all the road debris in the road that has damaged them so they now shrink wrap them to help protect them, and it would not take much to damage a tank or fairing on a bike if something in the road kicks up and hits it. I also can see inside my enclosed trailer while driving down the road to make sure everything stays safe, plus someone could steal your motorcycle off a open trailer within minutes of it being unattended. Times are tough right now and people are doing crazy things and it wouldn’t take anymore than a minute to cut the straps off a bike and run with it. My bid to do this would be $425.00, so let me know if I should bid. (7/18/2009)
