We won't be heading out for Florida until the 22/23, though. I'd have to drive your Santa Fe back to Los Angeles and store in my garage until we leave. (6/14/2009)

Response: We may have a friend we can leave the vehicle with and you wouldn't have to pickup until 6/22 or 6/23. Would that work for you? He would have the keys to the vehicle and could meet you when he gets off work on the 22nd or 23rd, we could do paypal online to take care of the payment. Could you have the vehicle in Clearwater Florida by 6/27? Our tags expire on 6/27 -- my husband's birthday. Since we are moving we don't want to renew NV tags, we want to go ahead and get Florida tags and the vehicle has to be seen by DMV staff before the tags are issued. It's almost 3000 miles from Reno to Clearwater, not sure you can make it there by 6/27 if you don't pick up until pm of 23rd. (6/14/2009)

Response: We'll be driving to Dallas to arrive the 23 or 24 (depending on what time we leave), staying the night there, and then heading to Tampa, FL where my father lives. It's an 18 hour drive from Vegas, so about 24 hours from Reno. I do back and forth between TX and CA all the time and if I need to sleep, a four hour nap does me fine. (5 hour energy is awesome...and I'm still young.) I don't take any chances, though, so if I need to sleep, I do. My kids are MOST important to me as is their safety. We won't be sight-seeing or anything like that. Just driving straight through to get there. Your tags should be fine through the end of June and a couple of days into July. Most states (including Florida) give you a 10 day grace period to get your tags. I have full coverage insurance for any vehicle I drive through Mercury insurance as well as Roadside Assistance. I'll go ahead and place my bid below. If it turns out this won't work for you, we can always cancel. (6/15/2009)
