Response: we've got a 8 room house to move also and most of the moving companies i've found aren't interested in dealing with motorcycles so i'm comparing trailering it myself, having it shipped, or my crazy friend from seattle said for a couple of one way tickets he would ride it down for us :) your timeframe is a couple weeks earlier then our move but it would probably work fine for the motorcycle because my brother in law lives there and could probably pick it up (or you could drop it off at their house) around 25-28 may. Response: thanks Mike your price is very competitive and your feedback looks great. my friend wants to do a road trip this year and said that if i fly him from seattle then back to seattle from austin he would like to help us move and ride the bike. although this would be more work for me, i would like to see him so i'm going to give him a couple of days to see if this will be possible for him. Question: I provide enclosed transport with full coverage insurance for your motorcycle during transit. I am D.O.T. legal. What this means to you is I stop at the D.O.T. weigh stations for their random safety inspections and weight checks. I pay apportionment fees, this fee is based on your total truck,trailer, equipment and cargo weight.I hold a 1 million dollar liability policy in case of a accident,this policy has nothing to do with my cargo .The above mentioned contains some of the requirements for anyone who transports for hire Ask your Insurance company if they will pay when you hire some one to transport your property and they have an accident or damage your property in any way. If I didn't provide insurance and was not D.O.T legal I could transport your bike for less than 1/2 of my price. (5/14/2009)
