Response: It has no license or plates on it and is not insured. These are potential problems but mechanically it is fine. Do you have suggestions and if so what would be your price? Mike Matchett (11/13/2008)
Response: We can get a temp tag for it and my driver has insurance as well. What problems could you foresee on this truck? Can you tell me the motor size or how many miles per gallon it gets? (11/13/2008)
Response: I foresee no problems mechanically. The engine is 4.6L V8 and I think it gets around 20-22 mpg, maybe better on freeway flat driving. (11/13/2008)

Question: If I am calculating correctly by driving the vehicle just gas to get it to your desired destination is going to cost $553. You might have a hard time getting a bid for $600 since the driver would likely be stopping at least once or twice for rest. Lodging at minimum is another $80 and food for two days not more than $30 or $40. I think you will find trailering more expensive in the $1000 range and it will take more time 2-4 weeks before the vehicle is delivered. Might be worth your time to explore whether there is some flexibility in your target bid? Please let me know if you have any flexibility. (11/14/2008)
Response: Hi, I already have an offer (ouside Uship) for hauling the truck on a trailer of 850Usd. If the truck will be driven to its location i want at least 250Usd of the price. So there is no room for flexibillity. But thanks for asking. (11/14/2008)
Response: So there is no way to meet in Sacramento for picking up the vehicle? The only way I could make the $600 bid is if I leave my car near a major airport so that I could fly back from Dallas. I do not believe Yreka has an airport that commercial airlines fly into. (11/14/2008)
