Shipper, I invite you to review my profile. I have a box truck which is a "dedicated" single bike hauler. I owned my own VTX1800 and realize the size of this bike. I would ramp load, chock, ratchet strap, and blanket wrap this for shipment. I will also have a "dedicated" single car trailer in tow. I would be very interested in handling this shipment for you. I am currently filling my calendar with bids and commitments. Although stated as flexible, I assume you would like to see this shipment completed as soon as practical correct? Hey Russ and thanks for the quick response and staying on top of your listing. I am looking right now at a route picking up a car in NC bound for an Ohio destination only a few short hours from Cleveland. That pickup would allow me to transition to Jessup and easily load this bike. Give me a little time to sort out the other listing and prepare firm numbers for both. The total mileage is around 1200 making this about a 2-3 day trip from my NC base all the way through to Cleveland. I will work up a firm number. Russ, I just communicate the same routing info to another shipper who would represent the car on this route. I will be optimistic that they will check their listing frequently. I mentioned the same window and dates as early next week. Once I've got their attention, I will inform you via a firm bid. Russ, I am working on the time commitment with the shipper now. He may be changing his destination but it is still along the route. Will keep you posted. I am also still trying to find an interested party to share the route, i.e. a car customer. I am definitely still interested in getting this bike to Cleveland for you. Russ, I have sent a note to the other shipper to see which way he is leaning. I have, as with this load, provided him a number lower than his current low bid. I also asked him to let me know if he is or is not interested so that I can move past his shipment and line something else up. In the meantime, I have a return working from Cleveland back to VA so no worries there. As with yourself, that shipper is also interested in my proposal. Let me scan the current docket and see what I can find as an alternative to the other shipper. If your plan is to make a final decision on Tuesday, about the time I will be planning the final leg to VA, then I will see where the other TSP's are at that point. Not certain I can come down as low as $301 yet, will still need a car going north to make any $$$ at all. I like you will continue to watch this very closely.
