Question: when you say you need to pickup at terminal do you mean the airport or can you take del at a residence (3/31/2009)

Response: I'm flying to Denver on 16th of July, need bike to be there. I don't presently have anyone there to accept delivery if bike arrives before I do. Hoping one of the Harleyk-Davidsons shops there will accept delivery, some do and some don't. If whoever ships the bike has a terminal in Denver it would help with this. (4/1/2009)

Response: I thought that might be the caseI I lived in Denver and have many friends in that area!I currently am Planing a trip to moab around the fourth and could meet you at the airport!I do this every year!Last july I shipped three beemers to the airport for some buddies that toured the rockies! This is hard to bid because I do not know what fuel will be But I could bid about 700. what you will get with me is a mobile shop and a Pro. moto shipper and mechanic that can give you lots of great advice on touring roads and maybe even ride with you if you would like! (4/1/2009)

Response: Let me give you some more specifics. I'm arriving at Denver airport around 5:30 PM, July 16th. I'm meeting some friends Sat July the 18th and we'll ride for three days together to Challis Idaho, then I'm going north to Glacier NP, and they're going south into Utah. I'll come down the east side of Glacier, to Red Lodge across the Beartooth To Cody, WY and then head east. I wanted to ride the entire trip with them but some of my friends from here are supposed to come and they have never seen Glacier, I have but didn't ride all the way thru. The important thing is that the bike be there the 16th or 17th of July. Any day after the 17th will screw up everything, meeting my friends and all my reservatons. 600 dollars is the price most everyone bids, if you can help with all this let me know. Some of the HD dealers accept shipment, and some don't. I e-mailed Freedom HD but got no response. I will call them if necessary, if I ship by freight I need to do it early so the bike will be there. (4/1/2009)

Response: what I would do is be at my friends in longmont and ride down to the airport on the evening of the sixteenth and meet you at one of the hotels just outside the airport!like I said I did this last year for three beemers and was on time and they aired there tires and they suited up and were off and running! I strongly suggest you ride the ridge trail as it is the most scenic!I am much more personalized and have a on board shop!I have picked bikes up at Freedom and some other shops in the area and there is a fee for this from the shop! You will get a 25.00 rebate for a first time shipper!I assure you will be taken care of with personal service and a fellow rider!I understand your need for punctaual, pesonalized service!I am not the cheapest!I am honest and understand your needs being a that I am a rider and Pro motorcyclist!I also have an onboard shop and will be in The Denver area If you should need anything while on our tour!Ialso am an amsoil dealer and I can do mobile oil changes !!! (4/1/2009)

Response: You sound like a fellow biker that I could do business with. Tell me more about what you haul the bikes in, truck trailer, tractor trailer. When would you need to pick up the bike, I live in Buchanan, a small town about 25 miles north of Roanoke, VA. It's just off Interstate 81 so access is no problem. I have my own two bike enclosed trailer so meeting you is no problem. I live several miles from nowhere in the woods so I would meet you in town. When I arrive in Denver I will stay in a hotel near the airport most likely. Sat the morning of the 18 I meet some friends near Erie and ride with them for three days, 1st day is thru Rocky Mtn Nat Park to Granby up to Walden and spend the nite, then up to Int 80 across to Green River, up 30 to Logan, UT and spend 2nd nite, then up by Pocatello thru Id to Challis and spend the 3rd nite. I didn't plan any of these routes, my friends are from Colorado Springs, Texas and Kansas. I'll head up 93 to Kalispell and they're going to UT. (4/1/2009)

Response: IGuess you know where longmont is and it sounds like you are going thru Estes park and the ridge trail goes into that same area.I haul Bikes in a box van pulling a 7x16 enclosed trailer. How close is buchannan to 220 north ! (4/1/2009)

Response: Yes, Longmont is north of Boulder, Is that where you live? 220 goes thru Fincastle, VA about 15 miles from Buchanan. I'm just along for the ride the first three days out there, My friend Wendy and Charlie planned the ride. Would you be arriving here empty and how many bikes can you haul, my brother and maybe one other person want to go on this trip with me so its possible you may need to pick up 2 or 3 bikes. I know that would be good for you finacially. I wish I could tell you for certain but with the economy and layoffs they haven't commited yet. If they do decide to go, do they have to go thru Uship to make arrangements with you? I see by the first email that we have the dates correct now, that's very important. I'm very flexible on the pick-up date, whatever works best for you. We have a fund raising firemens carnival here every fourth which we all work at, so any time after that is fine. (4/2/2009)

Response: no I live at snowshoe I used to live at in Denver. I am also a volunteer fireman myself!I lived in Roanoke for a short period of time back in the early ninties!I Have toured most of the states in the lower 48 some on a bike some while hauling bike's!are you positive you will be making this trip!I could handle about three more bikes I usually carry mine with me which is a ktm 625 which does not take up much room! The best thing to do is accept bid and then you will get my contact info!If the economy gets bad we can cancel but I would like to avoid that if at all possible as I will get penalized with higher fees! You will pay a small deposit the remainder we take care of ourselves when we make contact we can work that out!I look forward to your bid acceptance!I will call you within 24 hrs of bid acceptance!Have a great day! (4/2/2009)

Response: Yes, I'm positive that I'm going on the trip, I have my plane ticket to Denver already, plus I promised the people out there I would meet them for three days of their ride. Its just the two or three other people here, one is my brother, that have a problem making decisions, I don't have that problem. I'll go ahead and accept the contract at 600 and we'll go from there. I've gone west to ride every year for the last 6 years except last year I was building a log house and just couldn't get away. Once we get the contract done I'll discuss it with them and see what they want to do. Doesnt matter that much to me, I ride better alone anyway, they say I ride to fast. (4/2/2009)

Response: Okay I look forward to the bid being accepted I will call you within 24 hrs of bid acceptance! (4/2/2009)

Response: The current bid is for 625, we agreed on 600. (4/3/2009)

Response: I changed the dates and the amount I hope that works! (4/3/2009)

Question: I lowered my bid so with the 25.00 rebate from uship you will be under 600.00 I hope that works for you! (4/1/2009)

Response: That price is fine, but there seems to have been an error in the date I need the bike delivered. I'm sure i said 07/16/09, thats July 16th. All the e-mails i have received have 06/16/09 as the date. We need to be very clear on this, I don't need my bike in Denver in June. (4/1/2009)

Response: No problem as I just hit the wrong month on the date definitly I will Pickup on 7/6 or7 /09. (4/1/2009)
