Response: This will be towed behind truck. The height of you boat and the height of our trailer are close to the legal height. Do you have a broker or would you need the name of company we use. Response: Barrie, It would run $4300 and you would need to purchase the Ferry ticket. I would be able to get this picked up by the 25th of February. Response: Am i part of the multiple boat transport NY to the west coast? do you have COMPLETE MUD FLAT protection on your trailer? boat is now shrink-wrapped & trailer bearings and brakes checked. i have hired a broker here. Response: Yes we have complete mud flaps across truck. The ferry is up to you. I usually have the customers pay for the ferry to and from the island. I think the ferry is $60 each way but am not positive about that. I am bringing the boat from Phoenix to Nanaimo on 2/10. I have other items headed that way. I may also be able to get this loaded onto our trailer if I can find another shipment that will fit on the trailer with you boat. What is the total length of boat and trailer? 30'?. Thanks. Response: boat @ 27' plus motor plus trailer tongue i would think 30-32 overall. boat & trailer 8'6" wide i guess the boat & trailer to be to be max 12' high. FYI no other requests for ferry $. i saw on uship there are other boats in NE area looking for PNW delivery, thus my idea of joining a multiple transport, more cost effective for shipper, maybe better $ for me. I TOLD OTHER BIDS I WILL CONFIRM SHIPPER ON JAN31 9pm, i want everything in place BEFORE feb 2/08...... then when i arrive in NY i can inform all parties involved the who,what, when, where and why of shipping thanks................ Response: Our trailer is only 44' long. Also you may want to review those other bids as I know most of the shippers only deliver inside US and don't go into Canada so that may be why there is no Ferry $ mentioned. Response: I would appreciate a bid, I too am self employed and know we all have to make a living and i appreciate your feed-back. Ferry rates for car+driver are $55cdn each way if your trailer is 44 long + truck,i think fare to be $130-150 each way. BEFORE you post formal bid, i would be interested in a price with ONLY me on flat-deck. there are travel lifts available at both ends..............Barrie (1/29/2008)
