Additional Information: I have been trying to sell my RV in Indiana for six months and no takers. I listed it in Washington and now I have buyers wanting to look at it. I would like to get bids to have this 27 foot travel trailer transported to Marysville, WA from Richland, IN. Its a 2003 Coachman 270BH. It is roadworthy. It will require a truck with a trailer hitch to move it. The registration is current. I am in no hurry to get it here but looking to have it transported as cheaply as possible, as this has been a significant financial drain on my pocketbook. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment:

Question: Thanks for your bid request, the cheapest I could go would be $2500.00, which is a good price, but i am sure you should get some lower offers than that, just make sure they are legal, ask for their usdot and mc numbers and then check them in their state. Your target is really low for the miles, but you might find someone already heading that way. Good luck. (1/11/2007)
Response: I think my best bet would be to find someone from Washington who has made a delivery to Indiana and needs to get back to Washington. What kind of mileage do these one ton trucks with a diesel engine get? (1/12/2007)
Question: I can p/u on sat.the 13th or mon.the 15th and del. by friday the 19th fully insured($100,000.00 cargo ins.) for $2400. Thanks, GSD Transport. (1/12/2007)
Response: No thanks. Too much money. (1/12/2007)
Question: Good luck getting near your target. I know that my truck would consume at least $685. in fuel making this run. plus u-ship fees. leaving aproximately $165 for my food, lodging, and profit for a 3-day run. Like I said, GOOD LUCK (1/12/2007)
Response: I had no idea. I raised my target price to $1200. Will this work for you? (1/12/2007)
Question: looking to finish load . will haul out to wash. will be leaving around the 25th of jan. im ins. and dot . will deliver for $2100.00 ins included. just got back from wash yesterday. people need chains to make this run . thank you. also have 2006 gmc dually diesel. not high performance so will not leave your trailer all black suiot (1/12/2007)
Response: I raised my target price to $1600. I am on a tight budget. (1/12/2007)
Question: SORRY WE COULD NOT BE OF SERVICE TO YOU.GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR SHIPMENT. (1/12/2007)
Question: Hi and thanks for the requist but you have turndoun some good offers and prices we cannot do any better than what you already have passed on Thanks and good luck (1/12/2007)
Question: Thanks for the request but unfortunately my bid would be equivalent to the others. Towing a trailer for 2400mi takes a lot of fuel. Your target would just cover fuel and hotel costs. If I can land something that coordinates I could cut some costs but still would be unable to meet your target. Good luck and I'll keep an eye on it in case I find something that works with it. Thank You Again Stellar RV Transportation,LLC. (1/12/2007)
Response: What is the average mileage per gallon that a 3/4 or 1 ton deisel truck would get towing a trailer like this? I have no clue? (1/12/2007)
Question: 10-12 MPG (1/12/2007)
Question: Thanks for the bid request. It would run about $3250 for us to do the move. Good luck! (1/12/2007)
Question: There is so many variances that it would be difficult to answer your quest accurately. It would range from no lower than 8 up to 16mpg. That would be only in extremely perfect conditions for the max mpg. Around 12mpg would be about the average. Hope this helps somewhat. Stellar RV Transportation,LLC (1/12/2007)
Question: i have read all the comment from everyone else and i think i can help you but as low as i can go is $.90 per mile witch is roughly $2150. that is pretty cheap and the only reson i can do this is i live in washington. (1/12/2007)
Question: SHIPPER I DONT HAVE A CLUE WHAT PRICE YOU EXPECT TO PAY,IT MAY HELP IF YOU JUST SAY A PRICE AND LET PEOPLE KNOW YOUR EXPECTATIONS.IT WILL SAVE YOU AND THE SHIPPERS ALOT OF TIME (1/12/2007)
Response: Now that I have a better feel for the costs involved, I think my target price of $1600 is reasonable and attainable. The shipper who accepts will most likely have a return trip load to transport. The shippers quoting me now are assuming worse case scenario and driving back empty. (1/12/2007)
Question: WELL AS YOU CALL THE WORSE CASE IS THE TYPICAL CASE.IT IS EASY TO GET PAY LOADS GOING TO WASHINGTON AND 1 OUT OF 10 ODDS ON A RETURN LOAD HEADING BACK EAST.I WISH I COULD HELP YOU BUT I CANT DO FOR SUCH A LOW PRICE ON ONE WAY FRIEGHT.WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK ON YOUR SHIPMENT. (1/12/2007)
Response: Why do you have to go straight east? Go south into California. Tons of business going there from Washington. Then go east. (1/12/2007)
Question: Are you saying you have something else to go back? If so what are you looking at for a return trip? Stellar RV Transportation,LLC (1/12/2007)
Response: I don't have anything to go back east but there is a lot of opportunity in this website from Washington to California. Then you can head back east from California with another haul. (1/12/2007)
Question: DUE TO THE FACT THAT I HAVE 5 KIDS AND A WIFE I MAKE MY DELIVERY AND HEAD BACK EAST AFTER EACH TRIP.IT ISNT THAT EASY TO JUST GRAB A LOAD OUT THEIR.AS YOU CAN SEE WE BID LOADS GET SHOT DOWN AND SO ON.IT ISNT SO EASY.EVERY BODY WANTS A CHEAP PRICE AND THEN THEY WANT IT YESTERDAY,WITH INSURANCE.IT MAKES IT KIND OF HARD TO SET UP A GOOD ROUTE. (1/12/2007)
Question: Dear Shipper, Thank you for responding, and especially for seeing the light so to speak. I'm sure that myself and the other service providers inquiring about this shipment appreciate your willingness to be fair. I'd like to help you out, but I couldn't beat the offers you currently have. There are a couple of bargains there. Best of luck. (1/12/2007)
Question: Wizeguyz read your bid details you do need MC# to haul for hire. I just went threw DOT safety AUDIT thursday the 11th FYI good day (1/13/2007)
Question: it appears that you are now down to all [o] feedback.you may want to make sure that you have insurance on your trailer yourself.this time of year is when their is a stronger chance of a problem do to road conditions.good luck with your shipment. (1/13/2007)
Question: FYI,MORGAN DRIVEAWAY WAS SOLD OUT ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO OR SO. (1/13/2007)
Response: I don't understand the significance of this statement. Was it intended for me? (1/13/2007)
Question: FYI shipper your insurance will not cover it being shipped by any hauler. Cargo insurance is mandatory for any legal hauler and should be at no cost to you. That is part of the cost of doing business. I'm keeping an eye out for something to help you out. Stellar RV (1/13/2007)
