Question: I would like to help you move this bus back to the Bronx, NY. After looking at the bids posted and declined because of price range, I feel we can no longer offer our assistance. We are also a flatbed carrier, and our bid also would not be less than $600.00. Be thankful you do not have to cross into long Island or one of the outter boros. Response: Thanks for the info..must you use a flat bed carrier?...the bus runs just a couple of globes in the back light compartments... i can do $500 either way of moving it. let me know. (11/7/2009)
Response: Thank you for your response. Other than transporting this bus on a flatbed, or a wrecker, I do not see how you intend this bus to be moved. I cannot see anyone slaping a transporter plate on this bus and driving it down to the Bronx. I'm quite sure that this bus is not road worthy as of yet, and that neither state nor federal DOT safety inspections have been conducted within a year. Whomever you choose to bring this bus down for you, just be careful on that I-84 and 684 and 287. This move may just cost you way more than $500 bucks. Response: Transporting the bus down to the Bronx on a flatbed from the beginning to me a layman..towing was the mode i suggested right from time when i poste..is for u guys in the auto transport biz to figure out how you move it over here(Bronx). However i already have cold feet to guys that want to drive it down. Thanks for your good advice. For me it's safety first. i haven't ruled you out yet concerning this biz..so don't turn the page yet hmsexpress. (11/8/2009)

Response: Sorry that I could not be of sevice to you. We too are out of the Bronx, NY. I am quite sure that you will find the proper mode of transportation for your bus. I will do some networking on my end, and try and refer someone who may have a wrecker. I think that a flatbed may be a bit too extreme for such a simple move. Thank you once more. (11/8/2009)

Response: yeah..hang on. have you gotten the dealers plate and insurance already? i'll be there on tuesday to see how to fix back light and to see if storage is open weekends..i prefer a wkend move. when i am done i'll let you know.where are you based?.i want a guy who knows the highway and accessible local road to the storage at Brooke Ave on 149 street ,Bronx..not someone that would get stuck on the Brox River..cos i know all those roads them..i want a very safe move without excuse.Thanks.
