Questions for this shipment:

Question: Would Early-mid June work for you? Is this for one or two bikes? (5/7/2007)
Response: looking at later june maybe early july. I can ask the person buying it for more details on that. And it is only one bike. (5/7/2007)
Question: Is this a shipment on one or two bikes? (5/15/2007)
Response: Just one motorcycle. (5/15/2007)
Question: Hello, we are based in the jacksonville area and heading to MO around the end of May beginning of June. Might this work? Please view my profile and let me know if I can help. Thanks. (5/20/2007)
Question: I am planning a tirp this weekend I could transport your bike for $350 total. Let me know if this interests you so that I can make a formal bid. Ike (5/23/2007)
Response: no thank you... i do not need it transported until the end of June. But if you are available then, then let me know. but right now i have an active bid of 230, so i will probably be using that since it is the lowest so far (5/23/2007)
Question: Hello, I see you still need shipping. Please view my profile for important info about shipping and insurance and let me know if I can help. Thanks. (5/24/2007)
Response: I do still need a transport. I have several bids, but I am not sure who to use. I looked at your profile and it is truly the most impressive I have seen. But I am trying to find out some details from a bidder who is only asking $230! That is incredibly cheap, so I must investigate them. But I will definately keep the option of using you open. I did not know about the DOT information, very good to know. I will be in touch, thank you. Oh and if it's possible, I do not need this shipped until the end of June, would that still be okay with you? Thank you (5/24/2007)
Question: The DOT and insurance info IS definitly good to know. Please remember that cheaper is not always better. As for the end of june, I have no idea where I will be then. My bid was for the end of May and beginning of June. If you don't find a carrier by then send me a bid request then and I'll see if I can help. I will cancel my bid now since the timeframe is not good. Best of luck to you. (5/24/2007)
Response: Thank you and I appreciate your help and information. (5/24/2007)
Question: I might be able to do this for you within your time frame. Go to my profile and read it and you will see a link to the Federal Governments web site where you can check on my DOT & MC Numbers as well as anyone elses numbers we all need them. I see in one of your other questions you have checked into it some and thats good that you do. Plus Read the UShip User Agreement at :http://www.uship.com/user_agreement.aspx Pay very very close attention to paragraphs 14 & 15. Make sure that you understand it! If you don't understand it 100%, then ask someone who does. The weight of a shipment makes no difference, plus read the Uship message boards for more info or go there and ask questions if there is something you need answered. Let me know and good Luck. (5/24/2007)
Response: one shipper told me that he looked into the DOT and was told that if he isn't planning on shipp over 18,000 lbs then he didn't need to register with the DOT. I read the user agreement, paragraphs 14 and 15, is there anohter way to be legal to transport motor vehicles? He claims that he is legal, but I don't understand how if he isn't registered through these sites? (5/24/2007)
Question: We are not to give legal advise but since you asked me I will tell you what is required with the Federal Government. ANYONE that is being PAID anything that transports ANYTHING they need to legal with the FMCSA. The weight thing you talked about is WRONG, if you transport a BIRD IN A BIRDCAGE and get paid for it you need to be leagl. If you want to hear from others go to this link and wait and see what everyone posts and you will see for yourself. http://forums.uship.com/Topic17884-13-1.aspx (5/24/2007)
Response: thank you very much... did u place a bid for my shipment???? its for the end of june if u can (5/24/2007)
Question: I didnt place a bid because its to far ahead and if plans change its hard to cancel a bid, when the time comes closer and I am in the area again I will bid it for you but keep taking bids another good one might come along (5/24/2007)
Question: i will be in fl tomorrow and could pick up then i can store it untill you need it (5/25/2007)
