Questions for this shipment:

Question: How soon did you need the car/cars? Normally LA to Sweet Grass runs about $1000ea. We just dropped off a 04 up there last week. We are leaving Sun for MT loaded but we go up every week or every other. DOT legal with 100K cargo insurance. FVRR (3/13/2008)
Response: It was supposed to be picked up on March 10th with delivery in Calgary by this Saturday. Carrier (on Uship) was a no show, even after having charged a 50% "performance" deposit on the 3rd. No communication since. I posted a concerned phone message asking their whereabouts yesterday and instead of calling back they simply cancelled on me last night! Thus - I'm in a lurch with something of a bad taste in my mouth. Have a 81 Blazer in Phoenix that needs a ride, too. "They" tried to pick it up today, even after cancelling the deal! The auto dealer alerted me and put a stop to it. Very fishy. Anyway - not your problem, it's mine. So - How soon could you accomodate, how far could you haul it and for how much? Cheers RJ (3/13/2008)
Response: If you would have posted a little sooner (I must have missed your first listing) I could have picked up this week, I just got back from AZ today. I am sure my partner can get to SoCal and back but I don't think he can get to PHX and be back in time to leave on Sun. I will check with him. Delivery would not be until around the week of the 24. He could also swing down to AZ and SoCal on his way back from Sweet Grass. I'll give him a call to see where his is at but we are both booked about 2 weeks out for longer runs. We don't go into Canada yet, looking into it as we have loads going to Alaska this summer. (3/13/2008)
Response: Just read your excellent profile and 100% positive feedback which - in light of recent experience with those "other" guys - is very refreshing. Please explain how we can do some business with either or both units. Randy (3/13/2008)
Response: You will get your deposit back from uship but if you gave the other carrier you cc number then you should probably call the cc company to get the charges reversed. I was one day behind schedule getting back to Northern California today, if I would have got back yesterday I could have turned around with 2 cars back to AZ and picked up both but I have a church event Sat. morning. I need to bring 2 cars up to OR Mon and Tue and could head down and pick up and head up to MT but I need to be back up to WA the following week. I think I can deliver around the week of 3/24. The problem with this car is they are pretty heavy and I'm guessing the weight of the Blazer is going to be about the same. My 2 car trailer will hold 9500 pounds of payload. I have my 3 car in IL that I am trying to go and get that week as well. Price would be around 1000 each if I can get them both on my trailer. (3/13/2008)
Response: Blazer is 3300 and the Rover is 4630. Combined, that's around 8000 lbs. Do you have any buddies in the biz that could mule the units up to Calgary from the border? (3/13/2008)
Response: My good friend who goes into Sweet Grass all the time but once he gets time he is going to check into what it takes to go into Canada. I know we need a broker and I am sure we will need extra insurance. But there are a few guys on this site that do go into Canada but I don't know them personally. (3/13/2008)
Response: Martin - $1200 is intended as the Insta-Match (or whatever it's called) for Calgary delivery. You'd already mentioned $1000 to Sweetgrass, yes? (3/15/2008)
Response: I'm talking to a customer (dealer) in Canada as I type and will get back to you. How far is the destination to you once I cross the border? (3/14/2008)
Response: How are you making out? (3/14/2008)
Question: WHO WAS THE CARRIER ? (3/13/200
