Response: Hello! Thank you for your response to my listing! I am a truck driver based out of Lancaster/Dallas, TX and trying to get my Jeep there within the next few weeks.
How often do you do your drive-aways? I won't be able to get to California for a week or two since I am currently on the East Coast. My plan is to be there for pick-up and then have a friend of mine meet you for drop-off.
The Jeep is actually parked in Fontana, CA, but I figured that I could take it to the truck stop in Ontario if it was to be picked up by a car hauler. The drop-off location is my company's truck terminal.
Please let me know how often you transport so that I can put in for a load that way. If not, I may have to have another friend meet you for pick-up or else mail you the key. Thanks again!

Response: Hi Corie!! It's so refreshing to hear from a female truck driver!! My grandpa and uncles on my dad's side are truck drivers and they're always on my case about traveling alone...lol. I do drive aways during the summer months back and forth between TX and FL so that I can go visit my dad, uncles, and grandpa. I have a trip scheduled for next week and already have a drive away secured for getting back. I MAY be able to delay that a week and leave CA on the 21/22 instead of the 14/15, but I'd have to get back to you on that. Otherwise, I already have drive aways scheduled for the first week of August and the last week of August. I live in Los Angeles and have family/friends in Fort Worth, so pick up/delivery anywhere in the areas is perfectly fine. I always deliver the vehicles completely detailed, with a full tank of gas, and smelling great! Just let me know! Thanks! (7/8/2009)
Response: I believe that I can make this work. Would it be possible if I could meet up with you either Sunday or Monday to give you the Jeep and the keys? I can pay via PayPal beforehand. You could leave whenever you need to and just let me know when you expect to be in Texas so I can let me friend know when to meet you. If I pull the right strings, I should be able to get to CA by Sunday or Monday. I park my truck at our terminal in Downey. I could get the Jeep and the keys to you at that time. Please let me know. Response: Of course it would be Sunday or Monday...lol. I'm twiddling my thumbs doing nothing through Saturday and am going to Vegas Sunday morning! Taking my Goddaughter and her friend since they've never been. Going to do touristy stuff and relax by the pool at Rio. We'll be back late Monday night.
