Response: I would charge $1.15 per mile going ENCLOSED. It costs $.89 cents per mile in fuel alone. Then you have $15k per truck a year in insurance. Then you have payroll for each driver. Then the maintance. Then the truck note itself! I figure it costs a minimum of $1.05 per mile just to move the truck. This is long and heavy, like a regular car. (4/23/2008)
