Question: 16. Off-Site Communications. uShip prohibits offers by its members to transport listed shipments, or to offer listed shipments for transport, outside of the uShip site. Offers of this nature circumvent uShip’s fee structure and are a potential fraud risk for both shippers and TSPs. Some examples of off-site offers include:
Entering personal contact information, such as website addresses, fax numbers, phone numbers or email addresses, in uShip’s question and answer system, profile section, “Additional Information” sections, user ID, discussion forums, shipment listing, or shipment description.
Using personal contact information, such as website addresses, fax numbers, phone numbers, or email addresses, obtained through uShip’s question and answer system, profile section, “Additional Information” section, user ID, discussion forums, shipment listing, or shipment description to offer to deliver a listed item off-site or to offer a shipment for delivery off-site.
