Question: Shipper: I make weekly runs to Fla. and back. Please check my uship profile and feedback.Hopefully you want your items transported by a licensed MC/DOT compliant carrier with commercial liability and cargo insurance. We encourage you to review our profile ( or any other carrier you are considering) as well as verifying DOT/MC # at SAFER.FMCSA.DOT.GOV. All carriers must have a DOT/ M.C. # to legally transport for hire.(U-Ship also highly recommends you follow these procedures.) Thanks ! Gatorman (2/29/2008)

Response: All of your feedback is positive. The seller is wanting to back out of the deal, so I need to confirm that I can still buy it. Can you provide your insurance carrier name, their phone number, and policy number for verification? (3/3/2008)

Response: Scott...Yes I can fax the Federal motor carrier certificate, insurance certificate as well as provide my insurance agents name and number along with anything else you may need. You will have to accept the bid (U-ship rules) before any contact info. can be exchanged. ThaNks ! Gatorman (3/4/2008)

Question: Hello shipper, I am leaving Fl. in the A.M. of March 5th, heading home empty. I could easily pick this up for you and deliver it tomorrow afternoon. That is if the owner hasn't changed his mind about selling it to you. If you still need this shippped, I would love to offer my service to you for considerable less than any bid you have now. I can give you all the information you have mentioned...insurance co. name, phone number etc. I will check back in a couple hours so see if you have responded to my question. Hopefully we can do business. Thanks, Tammy (3/4/2008)

Response: You look legitimate on the FMCSA website, so give me your price and let's see if we can make a deal. I looked at your vehicle pictures on the uship profile and am concerned that you can't haul the tractor, the 5 ft bush hog and the 5 ft box blade on your trailer and I don't know if either of the implements would fit in your van. Check this to confirm. I will also need to contact the seller to see if she will be available tomorrow morning. Let me know ASAP. (3/4/2008)

Response: hello again.
Although my van is not empty, I believe that the bush hog attachment would fit inside. I have lots of straps to hold everything in place and for the price of 425.00 [NOTE: Per uShip rules, bids must be all inclusive. –uShip], I believe you would be happy with the outcome. give me the word and I will bid. Thanks, Tammy (3/4/2008)

Response: How much will the uship fees be in addition to the $425? Another alternative to putting the bush hog in the van would be to strap the box blade to the top of the bush hog then attach the bush hog to the tractor. Or you might strap the box blade inside the front bucket if it will fit. I just don't want my stuff impounded for you being illegal. If there is any question that you can't haul it, I would rather pass on the opportunity. I will be leaving the office shortly but will check this from home after 7:30pm. (3/4/2008)

Response: I am 100% legal. I have been tagged upto 26,000lbs. My trailer is capable of holding 14,000 lbs. I have 100,000.00 dollars worth of cargo insurance and 1,000,000.00 liability with progressive. My driving record is clear, I am responsible and reliable. I can not see the tractor (other than the pictures) but I believe that it will fit. The uship fees would be under 40 (I think) will have to make the bid to know for sure. If your not comfortable with this, I understand. I will bid if you want me to. If not, then maybe some other time, some other freight. Let me know. Tammy (3/4/2008)

Response: I was hoping to get a cheap ride at $400 but if you can do it for $450 total, then I'll go with you. (3/4/2008)

Response: bid has been placed. Set to expire at 8 am. Will need to talk with you on the phone in order to get addresses, etc. So...its 9:40 here...hint, hint. (3/4/2008)
