I use soft ties and spring hooks, I don't trust the open hooks on nylon straps, they can come off. Insurance is $6-8 per $1,000 declared value of item. I direct you to company to obtain, this way you are primary insured party, and no questions on whether it is really insured or not. People can promise a lot of things. Steven
