Question: Shipper: I have a couple of quick questions about your vehicle shipment. Could you please provide the dimensions especially H, L, & weight? Is the vehicle operational? I can pick up tomorrow, Monday May 22 and deliver within 2-3 days if it is ready to go. I would propose securely transporting it on a 25' open gooseneck trailer. My price inclusive of insurance would be $1,150 cash or certified funds at delivery. Response: The van does run and it is just a regular sized van (less than 18' long) with a high top, adding about 10 inches and weighs less than 5000 lbs. This vehicle pays on PICK UP by company check, however, $1000 is the best I can do. (5/21/2006)
Question: Shipper: Thank you for your response. Unfortunately after uShip fees and fuel $1000 doesn't make it a profitable haul especially considering it is a winch on-off vehicle. Also my payment requirement is cash or certified funds on delivery which is not compatible with your terms. Question: Thank you...I apologize I misread your response about the vehicle running and not needing to be winched on and off. Unfortunately, I was delivering to MD just a few miles from Ashland over this past weekend. I'm now back in the Midwest and would not be able to pick up the van for at least 10 days. Question: shipper,u set the $1000.00 for the other shipper,900.00 is the best i can do , its 1256mi at 900.00 is 72 cents it takes 33cents just to get trk trailer and cargo down the road (5/25/2006)
