Response: You'll get the bid if you post it for the $550.00. When will you be leaving? And I do have one request. I would like to overnight a bank draft or cashiers check to you to give to the seller when you pick up, and I would ask that you be certain you have a bill of sale in return. I know there's a hub cap missing from the rear tire and no visor on left rear door. But please check over the truck for any obvious problems. And I'm not talking about a one hour inspection. Question: Hi Larry. I am assuming that this truck will run and is roadworthy (engine, tranny, lights, a/c, brakes, etc.)? Is it (or can it be) tagged and fully insured? If so, I can drive it for ya and probably save ya some money. I've driven Greyhounds and straight trucks my entire life, so I know how to drive safe. My spotless driving record proves that. Since I'll be buying the gas, I'll drive it nice and easy so I'll get the maximum MPG's. I'm a 47 year old family man with a wife and a daughter. If you want to save some money and get the car there within a matter of hours instead of days or weeks, let me know and I'll place a formal bid. Thanks for looking. Response: Hi Billy. The truck is roadworthy but not insured nor tagged. Since it is a new change of ownership AL law says we have 30 days to tag. And maybe the current owner will keep insurance on the truck until delivery. If so, we'll be ok. Please place the bid and I'll let you know. This is a diesel and should get 15-17 mpg.
