Moving a car on a regular car carrier rarely causes fluid damage. I can give you a competive bid on a single car open trailer for $900 all inclusive, no fuel cost or mileage on put on your vehicle. Question: Here comes your honest answer. The VERY best method is inside a closed trailer. Closed trailers make the towing vehicle consume more fuel, so generally cost more to move. An open trailer provides no more protection than being driven,. The driver of the towed vehicle is just as subject to a wreck as the driver of your vehicle would be. Generally, the towing vehicle insurance will also cover his cargo, but sometimes there is debate on that. I have driven thousands of miles, in several countries, and all size vehicles. I am safe. $500 for me, plus actual fuel tickets, after you see the vehicle is fine. Be leary of those who want front money. bobeubanks (5/17/2006)
