Question: Hello. We can pick this up during your time frame. Fully insured. If interested, please accept bid asap and we can get things rolling. Thanks. -Mirel @ [Autos On The Go] (11/7/2009)

Response: Hello AutosOnTheGo:
Thank you for the bid. I would like to take some of your time to ask a couple of questions.
I am aware that there is a Better Business Bureau and i would like to know if your company was awarded it.
Secondly if I was to reply by late sunday, how soon will the car arrive to the destination?
Thank you very much for taking your time to read this message
Yours sincerely
Yasumiko (11/7/2009)

Response: If you accept bid on Sunday. We can have the car picked up within a couple of days and then delivery takes about 6-7 days after pickup. There is no such thing as a better business bureau award. Companies sign up with the BBB and then are graded on a letter scale based on customer service. -Mirel @ Autos On The Go (11/7/2009)

Response: Thank you very much for the reply and clearing things up (11/7/2009)

Question: Hello Yasumiko, I'm interested in DRIVING your BMW to to Daytona, Beach, FL, for you. Do you have a preferred pick-up date within your stated time frame in mind? Time in transit would be 3 to 4 days, weather and road conditions permitting. Once determined, I'll guarantee your dates; no "windows". The vehicle needs to be insured and have some form of current registration (or temp tag). If you're at all interested, please review some of my perfect feedback of over four years and eighty plus matches; 100%~no negatives, neutrals, or cancellations. You would be dealing solely with me, the driver; no brokers, middlemen, or other drivers, and I know you would be pleased with my service. I'm rarely the least (or most) expensive option you will have, but I'm safe, dependable, flexible and fair, and I'll treat your vehicle like gold. Please ask any questions you may have and let me know if you would like me to submit a competitive quote. Thank you for your time and consideration. ~Jim Henderson (11/7/2009)

Response: Dear Mr Jim Henderson:
Thank you very much for the offer. However I would have to decline, as I do not want to add additional mileage to my car.
Nonetheless thank you again for reviewing my post.
Yours sincerely
Yasumiko (11/7/2009)

Response: Dear Yasumiko, Thank you for your prompt response. I understand how you feel about the mileage. There are other issues to consider as well. First is safety; the Federal Consumer Affairs Agency says the best way to move a car is to drive it yourself; second best is to have a trusted friend drive it for you. I like to think, with my feedback, that I can be that trusted friend. Second is scheduling; with me, you name the pick-up date, and you get your car four days later. Others do this also, but it's not common. Third, you're essentially dealing with strangers, and the best measure you have of their performance is their feedback; mine is hard to beat. Check feedback closely. Whom you trust your car to is probably as important to you being pleased with the result, as the method of shipping. Finally, 2300 miles really isn't all that much, not even an oil change interval, particularly on today's newer cars. (cont'd below) (11/7/2009)

Question: (cont'd from above) Given that the car is about eight years old, this amounts to less than 300 miles per year; no where near enough to affect it's KBB value, or less than 6 miles per week for the life of the car. I can see from your listing, and from your messages, that you're more concerned with the welfare of your car, than within reason, the cost of moving the vehicle. So am I. Like I said earlier, I'm rarely the least expensive, but I will be competitive enough, that unless you're looking for the absolute cheapest shipper, my quote will seem reasonable. If you read just a little of my feedback, you'll find others who were at first reluctant to have their cars driven, but for one reason or another, changed their minds, and now wouldn't move their vehicles any other way. You'll also get a sense of how my clients feel about me. If you reconsider, just let me know. Good luck with your great car, and getting it to you, no matter what you decide. Thanks again for your time. ~Jim (11/7/2009)
