Response: will place bid. (4/28/2008)

Response: If all goes according to plan the boat would be ready to leave Coopersville on May14th. Is this a possibility for you?
(4/29/2008)

Response: should not be a problem. (4/29/2008)

Question: When are you looking to have this shipped? Thanks Terry. (4/29/2008)

Response: I am working on the paper work and getting the trailer serviced for the trip. I am hoping it would all be ready to hit the road as early as the 7 8 or 9 of May,

Question: If this is going into Canada I can take her up to Sweetgrass for the same price of 1500.00. I live not far from there. (4/29/2008)

Response: I assumed sweetgrass Montana? I looked on my map. Or were you talking taking the boat into canada? I prefer my local customs guys right here in Victoria. I would take the boat to Port Angeles and then over to Victoria. This is my normal avenue. We have awesome people in Victoria that make importing the boat totally painless.

(4/30/2008)

Response: Yes, it was Sweetgrass, MT I was talking about. I can take her into WA if you want. To Billings my figure would be 1450.00. (4/30/2008)

Response: sounds good. What kind of insurance do you carry? an does it cover what your towing. Shoot a price at me to take it all the way to washington? Thanks
Dave
(4/30/2008)

Response: I've got liability and cargo insurance(full replacement value). My insurance covers what is in the bed of my truck and what is on my hitch. To take it to Port Angeles my figure would be 2200.00 total. Mind you I can take it to any border port along the way if you wish. (4/30/2008)

Response: well that would certainly work for me. Its hard to get time off work right now its so screamin busy. So that would save me driving to Montana. I was only doing that to save some money because some of the quotes I got were ridiculous. Did I give you my expected shipping date? I am being held up by that fact that I cannot get a marine surveyor right away. They are all booking 2 to three weeks out. I have one scheduled for May 8th. Once that is done I am basically ready. Lets keep in touch.
Dave
(4/30/2008)

Response: My soonest opening is in 3rd week of May with an immediate delivery. I will go ahead and enter my bid for an extended period to allow you time to get that done unless you wish to book in advance. I always try to book in advance to keep my truck going steady so if you want to go ahead and accept I can lock you in once everything is handled. (4/30/2008)

Response: Well I cant lock in until the survey is done. But if they can do it sooner and I close sooner I will let u know for sure. I dont expect the survey to show anyting bad as this boat looks amazing but I have to protect myself just in case. Its a lot of money. I hope we can put this together.

Response: Of course! I entered my bid for your consideration. Let me know how everything goes and I will do this for you on the available dates. Thanks! (4/30/2008)

Response: UPDATE!!!!
I am flying to Michigan Sunday to look at this boat and hopefully complete the transaction. It could be ready to ship as soon as the end of next week. How does that look for you. Please keep in mind that I am flexible and the dealer has no problem holding the boat till we are ready to ship. But as you can well imagine I am excited and want to get it home as soon as possible. One other thing, Because of the tax laws in Michigan state there must be a proper bill of lading showing that Skipper Buds the dealer is shipping the boat. Otherwise I could be on the hook for the Michigan sales tax which would squash the deal.

Response: Absolutely! I would be excited too. That's a nice boat! As with all my other deliveries I always provide a BOL. I will put them as being the shipper since it is coming out of their dealership as the pick up point. Just remind me if you accept my bid and we can go from there. My soonest opening is still the 3rd week of May but there may be possibility I could get done with my other runs sooner as winter in winding down and could get yours alot quicker. As soon as you are ready to accept I am ready to put you on the books. (5/1/2008)

Response: I have to be honest. I have never used u ship before. So I am a little nervous. So if I accept your bid and my deal goes south.....what happens. I feel good about using you and your feedback is good. So what kinda rig do you have?.That just popped into my head. I have no problem accepting your bid but my deal is not etched in stone until Monday or Tuesday.
Dave (5/1/2008)

Response: You can see the truck in my profile and the types of things that I have pulled with her.I use a modified 3/4 ton Dodge truck. If you don't feel comfortable accepting the bid then you can wait until your deal goes through on Monday or Tuesday. I would rather not have a cancelation in my feedback. Thanks. (5/1/2008)

Response: Ok
Thanks
I will keep in touch and will know more by monday.
Hope yu understand lots of anxiety shopping long distance but I have been three years finding just the right Four Winns that I can afford to bring home.
