Questions for this shipment:

Question: Is this going to Memphis or Texas? I see you have two listings for this car. (10/24/2009)
Response: It's going to Memphis first and then to Texas. Which way are you going and how much would you charge to piggyback this on your load? (10/24/2009)
Response: Hi, I could do memphis for about 450, straight to TX for double. On a single car trailer, not piggybacked. (10/24/2009)
Response: When can you pick it up? (10/24/2009)
Response: Tuesday. Would it go to memphis or do you want it to go to tx? (10/24/2009)
Response: Texas is the final destination. Memphis is just an alternative destination. (11/8/2009)
Response: Ok. I'm in NY right now but if I get back there and you still need it moved I'll re-bid. (11/8/2009)
Response: I don't believe I've ever recieved a bid from you. (11/8/2009)

Question: Hi, is this going from O'hare (ORD) or Galena? A couple hundred miles apart. Also, I have an enclosed trailer, and can deliver this to you in Texas or Memphis. Where do you want this delivered? Thanks, Robert (10/28/2009)
Response: Texas is the final destination, Memphis is just an alternative. (11/8/2009)
Question: Hi, do you still need this transported? Please confirm the pick up and delivery points? Thank you, Jeff (11/7/2009)
Response: Hi Jeff, I still need this vehicle shipped and I am ready to book. The pick up point is Galena, Illinois; the final destination is Houston, Texas. However, I will accept a dropoff in Memphis if the price is right. Are you a broker or a carrier? Thanks, Charles (11/7/2009)
Response: Hi Charles, I can offer you fully insured transport and drive your car to Houston within the next week. Can they pick me up at the Dubuque airport and can I pick up the vehicle after business hours? My rate, including gas and insurance to Houston is $725 and Memphis $425. Thank you, Jeff (11/8/2009)
Response: Prices too high (11/8/2009)
Question: If you still need this moved, I can get it picked up in Galena this week and deliver it to Memphis for you a day or so later depending on the pick up time. I only have room for one vehicle so if you'd like to do this, lmk so we can work it out as I'm looking for a load now from the Iowa City area and it's first come first served as I have to head south the end of the week. Google shows 614 miles. I'll get it there for you for $500 - my fees plus the broker fee that U-Ship charges will be included. I'm not a broker. U-Ship is the broker. Thanks.... Bruce Baker - check my feedback if you'd like. (11/8/2009)
Response: Hi Bruce, I appreciate your responding to my listing on this vehicle. I really like that you are a carrier picking the vehicle up this week. However, I really would prefer to have this vehicle brought to Houston. Would you by any chance be coming near Texas or Louisiana? If I'm unable to get the car to Houston, I will have it delivered to my family in Memphis. (11/8/2009)
Response: My destination on this trip is Birmingham AL. How flexible is your shipping schedule? I could also get the Saturn picked up this week in Galena and bring it with another load I'm working on sometime after the 13th of the month. I have good secure storage and I often will pick up a vehicle ahead of schedule when it's close by and then it's here in Iowa and ready to load. Is this workable? LMK and we'll see if we can't make it happen. Thanks again... Bruce (11/8/2009)
Response: Let me get this straight, you want to pick the vehicle up, store it in Iowa, and bring it with another load after the 13th? (11/8/2009)
Response: I often will pick up a vehicle early if the shipper has an issue with storage at their end. (I have 3 trucks but only one that goes as far away as Houston) Sometimes eBay sales and so forth require a vehicle to be moved by a specific date. Your Saturn is only about 75 miles directly east of us so it's not a problem if this helps you out. It's often times much easier to do this than to try to coordinate a specific pick up time with your person in Galena for instance. We can meet them at their convenience, load on their schedule, and it makes it much more relaxed. In other words, I handle all of the details for you. I have an acre of storage so when my truck is back in and the load south (we haul 2 vehicles at a time)is ready to go, everything is in place and there are no unforseen delays or surprises as you have with brokered loads. Locistics with some of these moves becomes a nightmare and this method simplifies thing. We keep a handle on it so we keep you informed...Bruce (11/8/2009)
Response: I appreciate the explanation. Could you submit bid on my Houston shipment if you haven't done already. Thanks (11/8/2009)
Response: Hi Charles, No I haven't placed a bid but to be honest with you, you have some bids lower than I can bid to get your car to Houston, but it looks like thay are all brokers for the most part. The big difference is that I'm small and can't haul 6 or 8 cars at once. What I can offer you is good service and communication that makes sense. I'd have to be in the area of $850-$900 in order to pay the truck and the U-Ship broker fees. The big guys will haul 6-8 cars at $5-600 each and they knock down $4K+ a trip but I can't obviously. I can still bid if you'd like but that's your call. Thanks !! .... Bruce (11/8/2009)
Response: Bruce, Houston is going to be too expensive and take too long. I would be willing to pick this car up in Memphis for $400 total if you have a last minute spot on your truck. Thanks, Charles (11/8/2009)
Response: Hi Charles, I could do this for you to Memphis for $400 but I would need to bid $460 as an all inclusive bid as that's U-Ships rules. It will cover $400 to the truck and U-Ships fees. Will that work for you? If so, let me know and I'll bid tonight and we'll get it under way as your schedule permits. Thanks again .... Bruce Baker, Solon, IA (11/8/2009)
Question: Hello. We can pick this up during your requested time frame. Fully insured. If interested, please accept bid asap and we can get things rolling. Thanks. -Mirel @ [Autos On The Go] (11/8/2009)
Response: Hi Mirel, It appears that you are a broker, is that correct? If so, when do you anticipate having a truck in the Dubuque area? What is the price to Memphis? To Houston? Thanks, Charles (11/8/2009)
Response: Hello, yes we are brokers. Pickup would be within 6days of bid acceptance. Price to Houston would be $175 more than what I bid to Memphis. -Mirel @ Autos On The Go (11/8/2009)
Question: Do you still need this car going to Memphis, I will be in your area on Monday. Thanks Sthornedhs (11/10/2009)
Response: Hi, Thanks for inquiring on my listing for the Saturn. The final destination for the Saturn is Houston, Texas. However, I will accept a delivery to Memphis if someone has a spot available. If it is going to cost the same as bringing it to Houston, I would prefer to wait until there is a slot open going to Texas. Charles (11/10/2009)
Response: Let me do some checking and see how close I am dropping off this other load. I'll get back to you thanks Sthornedhs (11/10/2009)
