Response: The closest I can come to the $500.00, is the origonal quote of $575.00-- there's very little coming out of your area, so I'll have some "deadhead" milage out from there, so I can't really charge any less. (There are also a LOT of additional expenses in operating a legitimate interstate transport business--but the extra is worth it. My service is "hassle free"-meaning that you won't have to worry about your bike being impounded because it is aboard an illegal transport...And I am DEFINITELY fully insured.) As for imeframe, I'll be picking up sometime in the area of July 12th--15th. Delivery is almost always within 7 days. If this works, please let me know. Either way, best of luck to you! Question: Hi, Chris. I've entered my bid on this. I'll be picking up before the 13th--probably well before then, but like to give myself plenty of room. I don't have a precise schedule yet, because I'm still booking, but will definitely give plenty of notice. As for delivery, I'll be working my way north from there, but am only allowed 70 hours driving time in any 8 day period, so will be stopping home (in N.Y.) for a couple of days before coming upstate.
