If you are going to place a bid, please be prepared to provide the following and indicate that you will do so in your bid comments: Faxed contract, copy of driver's license, proof of insurance that will cover loss or damage for value of bike ($2500). Bids without acknowledgement of these items will not be considered. If I am unable to reach the winner by telephone within 24 hours the deal is off. No deposits will be given either as you will have my bike held hostage, I think that's enough deposit. Sorry to have to lay this all out but apparently there are alot of games and fraud that goes on at this site. I'm sure there are some good folks out there as well so hopefully I will find some here. I sell about 50 bikes a year on ebay and would like to meet some quality transporters to work with and refer to my customers. I'm trying with one of my own purchases first to see how it goes. Question: Hello...I contacted you earlier. Sorry about what you had to go through. I was the one at $485. As you can see by my feedback I take care of business. Sometimes you or going to have these problems when you are just looking for the cheapest. The deposit is a very important part of the transaction here on uship. It really has nothing to do with holding your bike hostage. The deposit helps insure that the shipper stays commited to the deal. Just as if you sold a motorcycle on ebay you would get a deposit (or a commitment) from the buyer.....Thanks for your time. I can meet all your requirement. I got burned by a company in the past who tried(and did) convince me they were legal and in fact they wene not and when damage occurred I was up the proverbial creek with out a paddle.
