Additional Information: We are a truck dealer in Kansas City who purchased this non-CDL truck from Penske in El Paso, Texas. The truck was purchased under trade conditions of sound engine and transmission, 50% tires and brakes, and less than $250 body damage.
It should be no problem to operate when driven to Kansas City. It does not require a CDL, but does require us to send you our dealer plate, and the driver must keep a log book and stop at scales to avoid problems. We will supply insurance. You would supply fuel, the driver, and any of the driver's expenses such as motels or meals. We seek a person or company with a good driving record, who can bring it as soon as possible. Response: Kelvin, This truck uses diesel, not gas. If I understand your bid, you will handle everything for $900. Would you be providing insurance and a plate, or are you bidding exactly as I listed? Response: Okay. I will accept your bid, as soon as I see it. I believe the truck is ready, but you should call them, to be sure. You will have to fill out a logbook. Also, make sure you only put diesel into the truck. Gas would blow the engine. You never answered my question: Do you need my dealer plate? (10/2/2006)
