Question: Dose all your stuff have to be in an enclosed trailer?
Will it be first floor pick up and drop off? (9/4/2009)

Response: The 13 boxes could be covered with a tarp, and then could go in an open trailer. The furniture needs to be enclosed.
Pickup is from a residential garage - very easy access. Delivery is to a residence - some pieces will go into a shed and others into a one-story house. There are a few steps going down into the house.
Thanks for your question. (9/4/2009)

Response: A cargo trailer is enclosed with a metal top. I would be pulling the trailer with a truck. Paul (9/8/2009)

Response: Hello Paul, Thanks for the information - I appreciate it. My nephew does not think that the shipment would fit in a pickup, so it seems that the trailer would be necessary. There are fragile items and an antique table, so things would need to be blanketed and strapped down really well. I am waiting to hear from one other mover before deciding what to do. It would be great to get this taken care of this weekend. I will be in touch soon. Thank you, Janie (9/9/2009)

Response: I would be able to put some of the more fragile things in the truck. You are right though,if it is wrapped good I have never had any trouble with things getting broke in a trailer. My bid is set to expire tomorrow morning.I would like to work for you but I will need to start bidding on other items in the morning, My time is limited to get some other shipment worked out by Saturday. Thanks for considering me. Paul (9/9/2009)

Response: Thank you Paul for your response. I will check with my niece and nephew in the morning to be sure they are available to help get everything loaded on Sat. a.m. and also check with my insurance company. Thanks for letting me know about the timeframe for your bid. I should be able to respond to you with a final acceptance of your bid or to reject it by about 10 a.m. Mountain Time on 9/10/09. (9/10/2009)

Response: Janie,My bid may have expired earlier than you realized. If you still have a need, post a note and I will check back as long as I have not booked any other shipments. Thanks Paul (9/10/2009)

Response: Hello Paul,
Yes, it did expire sooner than I expected. I have decided to wait to get the shipment transported. Partly because I do not really feel ready to receive it this weekend, and also I will feel more comfortable using a shipper who is bonded and insured. Thank you for your communications - I wish you well and hope you find the perfect shipment to help with your trip to Juarez. Janie (9/10/2009)

Question: Hello, we can load your belongings the weekend of the 19th for 845.00. check my profile, ask any questions you may have, yes we are insured and have a good reputation that we want to protect.thanks for your time... rodmary64024 (9/13/2009)

Response: Hello Rodmary,
Thanks very much for your bid. The price sounds great and I will look up your profile. The only problem may be the timing. I will be out of town from 9/17 through 9/28, so wouldn't be here to receive the shipment. It's possible that I could get a neighbor to meet you, but it sure would be simpler if arrival were after 9/28. 9/30 is also not a good day for me. Otherwise, I'm quite flexible after 9/28. Is there a possibility of doing it later? Thanks for your reply....Janie (9/14/2009)

Response: I am confused do I understand it can not be picked up until the 29th or so or can not be delivered until the 29th or 30th? if pick up not until the 29th or 30th might work. thanks for your reply... rodmary64024 (9/14/2009)

Response: Hello Rod, Thanks for your reply. The shipment is at my niece and nephew's house in their garage, and can be picked up any day. They are home a lot. I am not in a big hurry to receive the shipment, being more interested in having the right person to do the transport. Your profile is amazing. I feel really comfortable having you and your wife bring my things -- precious items from my mother's apartment. I will be away from 9/17 through 9/28, so delivery to me in New Mexico could not be then. 9/30 is also a bad day for me because it is a special holiday at Taos Pueblo that I always attend. Also, the items fit into a Honda van without the seats, except for one server, so the shipment doesn't take up very much room in a big truck/van. Delivery could be 9/29, or almost any day in October through 10/15. If you're traveling and would like to visit Taos Pueblo on 9/30, I highly recommend it. It's beautiful. Janie (9/14/2009)

Response: OK, how about pick up on the 27th and deliver on the 3rd or 4th? (9/15/2009)

Response: Yes, that would work fine. Weekends are the best time for pickup at my niece's home. On the 3rd, I have to work in the afternoon, so only the morning would work. On the 4th, any time would be great. Is the next step for you to make a bid on the uShip system? Thanks very much, Janie (9/15/2009)

Response: That all sounds good to me and you are correct, the next thing is to place a formal bid for you to accept.rodmary64024 (9/15/2009)
