Questions for this shipment:
Question:
can I truck and trailer get close to boat, I could pull this onto my flatbed,we would have to pull it off . Looking at $500 (8/10/2009)
Response:
yes, but the seller says it MAY be damaged trying to load it to a flatbed. I can definitely remove it with my skid steer. (8/10/2009)
Response:
Would be no problem loading on my flat bed ,strap a couple 2x onto the pontoons and pull it up. I will be in Alabama tomorrow moving a pontoon the same way.Let me know and I will submit a bid. Thanks DON (8/10/2009)
Response:
sounds like some experience......go ahead an place a bid. thanks. (8/10/2009)
Question:
hi, i can work it onto my pontoon trailer, using wood blocks and jacks,i would have to do it in the next day or so or next week sometime, the cost wouls be about 475 to 500,let me know, thanks ,mark (8/10/2009)
Response:
I think if you could do it for $475 that would be fine and it looks like you have some pontoon experience as I know nothing about them. I plan on using this as a dock in my pond. At delivery, would you be able to back the unit to the pond? The hill going to the pond is grass covered (yard height) and a relatively steep grade. I have a skid steer and a Dodge 2500 4x4 if we have any traction problems. I have hauled wood out from around the pond and my wife mows down to the pond with our lawn tractor. (8/10/2009)
Response:
i think we can do a water delivery as long as you have something to keep me from going in the pond...lol..and to pull me out,my truck is only 2 wheel drive, when do you want this done?... (8/10/2009)
Response:
You're NOT going into the pond. I can GUARANTEE that. It's not rough at all and a pretty easy run all the way there. If nothing else, we can put your trailer on my truck and take it down. Whenever it's convenient for you is ok with me. I'll need to check with the seller, but I think he's an older gentleman who could be available most any time. (8/10/2009)
Response:
ok good deal...ill put my bid in...see if we can do it tomorrow or wedsday,i'll be leaving town late thursday, thanks ,mark (8/10/2009)
Question:
hey were you able to contact him? (8/10/2009)
Response:
Not yet. I've sent two emails. (1) as to availability to pick up and (1) as to accepting full payment via paypal. Would you inspect the boat for me before loading? I am really only concerned about the pontoons. IF the deck is in good shape, that's just a plus. We're going to use it as a dock, so the rails and such are NOT a big deal to me. When would you like to pick it up? (8/10/2009)
Response:
would be glad to inspect it for you,and i will call you before i load it,i would like to load it tomorrow, weds. at the latest or i would have to wait till next week sometime (8/10/2009)
Response:
I'll get all info together as soon as he contacts me back and accept your bid. Wednesday MAY be better as we have had rain this evening and expecting more tomorrow. Damp would be ok.....wet we'd make a mess!! (8/10/2009)
Response:
no problem, just let me know as soon as you can (8/10/2009)
