Ken, I will be leaving Cal to Florida on March 21st, if this works, I could get fairly close to your price. Let me asap, JohnReport a Violation
Response: John, Will you be using a flatbed or some other equipment to keep my boat/trailer off the road? Ken 3/2/2014Report a Violation
Response: Ken, Sorry I have got too much work and I confused your transport with another, I only do tow transports, I have transported many Ski boats direct from manufacturers and have never had one issue,I use rock and sand guards to block any tire debris, I would suggest a shrink wrap whatever transport you choose. Thanks for your reply, John3/2/2014Report a Violation

PICKUP AROUND THE 10TH DROP OFF IN 4 DAYS $2032. FOR TOWING OR $3335. FOR FLATBED FULLY INSURED FOR 100K TO COVER YOURSReport a Violation
Question:
3/4/2014
We can flatbed the shipment, but rate is $2/mile. Is there a reason for flatbed? Most ski boats are shrink wrapped for shipment, and, as long as the towing vehicle has full flaps, the boat is better protected than on a flatbed. Is there an issue with the trailer? Also, more damage is caused with double trailering (loaded boat trailer on flatbed) from the trailers opposite suspension reactions; when they are new, boats/trailers are supported separately, with no direct contact. Rate for towing is MUCH lower, especially to FL.Report a Violation
Response: Yes, I am concerned about the trailer. It is only 4 years old, but has been used exclusively in salt water. I have towed a trailer that had 2 cross members fail in the middle of nowwhere. What would you do if that happened to you and my boat trailer in the middle of no where?3/5/2014Report a Violation
Question:
3/5/2014
IF YOU LET IT BE TOWED WE WILL ACCEPT YOUR OFFER IT IS THE BEST AND SAFEST WAY TO SHIP A BOAT WE ARE FULLY INSURED TO COVER YOURS PICKUP BY THE WEEKENDReport a Violation
Response: I understand you want to tow my boat. My question is... if my trailer fails while on the road in the middle of nowhere , what is your procedure? 3/6/2014Report a Violation
Response: first i call you then i deal with the problem i carry a floor-jack and a boat axle jack-two spare trailer tires-tools-grease gun-jack stands all kinds of straps i have been doing this for over twenty years and have never started a transport that i did not finish are you just worrying or do you know their is a problem already starting 3/6/2014Report a Violation
Response: I don't know of a problem, only that I have experienced a trailer fail at 2 cross members at the same time. That was a major ordeal. The trailer is 4 years old and used only in salt water. Even on a galvanized trailer, there is rust near the axles which aren't galvanized. If there is a problem brewing, this trip would reveal it. Is there a piece of equipment like a dolly that the twin axle wheels can sit on? Like a car dolly for the front 2 wheels?3/6/2014Report a Violation
Response: no dolly that i have ever seen if its on a galvanized trailer that's a plus and yes every boat trailer the axles and leaf springs always seem to have rust i just got back last night from miami towing a 24ft on a aluminum trailer but ever bolt spring and mounts even the mounts for the disk brakes were rusted so no brakes but it made it fine to long beach ca.3/6/2014Report a Violation
Question:
3/6/2014
You will need to have the trailer inspected and repaired as necessary, and I will tow it to you for your offer amount. Thanks, RobertReport a Violation
Question:
3/6/2014
Ken i have delta with these before what happens with a boxed frame trailer is they are painted on the outside but bare metal on the inside so the water get inside the frame and they rust from the inside you don't see this until they break the water gets in the cross beam that are vied in the center and the water sits and thats usually where they crack if you can see rust already then you know its not good if not its best to take a hammer to the bottom of the cross beams if they are rusted inside and weak you will fill that even a ice pick and a hammer to see if a pick will go threw the beam most of the time the cross beams have a drain hole drilled on the bottom side this is wear they start to crack from each side of the drain hole easy to check it out Report a Violation
Response: I understand the discovery process. My question is... if the trailer fails while on the road in the middle of nowhere, what is your procedure?3/6/2014Report a Violation
Response: well i don't see that happening as i will look it over before i even leave or does it already look that bad to you i am surely not just going to abandoned it along side the road i had a 18ft seedoo jet boat i was towing only two years old picked up in FL. going 3000miles to WA. the rear cross beam did just what i said cracked in the middle from rust inside the frame could see done on outside the boat started to sag down so i was able to put a 2x4 under the cross beam with a 3200lbs strap under that which held the beam back up and i made it all the way now these trailer that seedoo use are very cheap and thin wall metal 3/6/2014Report a Violation
