Question: Good afternoon. I have completed my current run North and am now looking to fill a load for a return run South. I am scheduling pickups starting on Wednesday, July 2nd, with ultimate deliveries expected within a week or sooner. If this timeframe could work for your needs on this, and there would be be at least some assist with loading and off loading, if needed, I could get this delivered for you for 1200 cash on delivery/1100 if paid at pickup via PayPal, etc. If you would be so kind, please let me know either way as soon as you can so I will know whether to add this to my run, or focus my efforts elsewhere. Thanks, Howard. Please review my profile and feedback, as should be done with any bidder you may consider. Also note that I have not yet submitted the formal bid, but will await your reply before doing so. Again, Thank You. If you happen to be reasdy to move on this, I have a pickup Wednesday morning in Buffalo. (6/29/2008)

Response: Howard,
Our time frames work. I presume you'll tow the boat behind your truck. The boat is at a marina and will be placed on my trailer for pick up. You would need to pickup and deliver during normal business hours for assistance. Being the first time I have done this how do I know I'll get my boat. Do we sign a contract? Lets get this done (6/29/2008)

Response: First off...PLEASE read my (and ANY BIDDER's) profile and feedback. It really does tell a story about the "provider". Secondly, I had a boat once, years ago, absolutely no desire to have another. Thirdly, If I showed up at home with a boat, my wife would probably removed a couple of body parts that I'm quiter fond of. The way Uship works is I will submit a formal bid, then when you accept (if you choose to do so)our contact info becomes available to each other. Asd soon as I get word (through message from Uship) that a bid has been accepted, I will call you to finalize details. I you want to get this done right away, and you're ready to accept a bid, let me know which pmt option you'd prefer and I'll submit the bid accordingly. Thanks, Howard. (am standing by for your reply) (6/29/2008)

Response: Howard,
Your profile suggests you are the man and would hate to have your wife cut something off. I'm ready if you are I'll pay cash on delivery or I need to set up a paypal account to save 100 bucks.

Response: that is up to you..setting up a paypal account only takes a few minutes. I will submit bid with pmt at hookup option. If you're able, please accept right away so I can add this stop to my route. I'll also call you right away to work out all the details. Thanks, Howard. (6/29/2008)

Response: Bid is in at 1050 (don'tcha just love surprises? LOL) Awaiting your acceptance. Thanks, Howard. (6/29/2008)

Question: If you have an opportunity, please review the following federal government website. Giving this site is allowed per Uship rules. http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/safety-security/eta/part390.htm states over 10,000# combination) ,which is vehicle gross sticker + trailer gross sticker. At that weight rating (which is not the scale weight of truck and boat but the sticker gross weight) transporters need MC# & DOT#, State DOT officers have authority to shut down non-DOT compliant transporters where stopped. Review licensing & insurance at safer.fmcsa.dot.gov This is not legal advice just what the federal government puts into law, and so you may be informed on transport regulations pertaining to transport of your boat. IMPORTANT: uShip does not screen or qualify TSPs for compliance with federal, state or local laws and regulations. Thank you for your time.
