Response: Hello John, thank you very much for your interest in our services. Unfortunately we cannot lower our bid anymore without losing money. The price of fuel is close to $4.50 per gallon. Given this, you are getting a great rate at less than $1.00 per mile. Response: John, thanks for considering me, however I cannot drop the price. Overnight diesel fuel has topped $5.00 per gallon along the route of your transport. If you have a significantly better offer, from someone you are comfortable dealing with, you should lock the deal in ASAP. Prices are only going to go up.
