Question: loading?trailer needed? (4/15/2009)
Response: Not sure what you're asking on the loading question? The container we own and it will be packed prior to p/u from you. You will need to be able to get it loaded onto your truck and then hauled to Seattle shipping port where I'm assuming that they have forklifts or cranes that will be able to uload it from your truck and onto the barge or shipping yard, etc. Hopefully that answered your question? Question: My time to make this all come together in your time frame is getting tight. It takes a bit to block out this trip on my calendar. ( I did this run 7 times last year) If my bid is not going to work I would like to move on to other shipments I priced it as best I could and thought this would save you headache and some dollars. The bid was for all your stuff less the horses and horse trailer. Please feel free to ask any questions. I can not standby much longer -My summers get pretty busy and I am a planner. Question: is the container sitting on the ground and is it already loaded or can it wait until i get there to load on my trailer before you load the container (5/2/2009)
Response: I thought I responded to this yesterday - sorry it must not have registered. Yes, the container is on the ground and it is currently unloaded. I will have to check to see if the place that sells the horse feed has a way to load the container once it's on your truck. I won't be able to speak to them until tomorrow, so I'll have to get back to you then. Just to confirm, your bid is to haul the container filled w/ approx 25-20K lbs of feed from Reno to Seattle shipping docks - correct? Please respond to this answer so that I can respond back to you tomorrow w/ my answer from the feed company, otherwise I won't have any way of getting back in touch w/ you through uship, as the system won't allow me to respond to the same question twice.
