Questions for this shipment:

Question: who will be disasimbling the cubicals (10/3/2007)
Response: Thank you for the question. We will need the movers to disassemble the cubicles. Thanks! (10/4/2007)
Question: What type of Cubicles are these? Herman Miller? Steelcase? (10/4/2007)
Response: We believe they are Herman Miller...similiar to the 5000 series. Thank you! (10/5/2007)
Response: Hmmm, The 5000 series is not a cubicle series, I am pretty sure that is one of their modular case good line ups. Usually used in L shapes with P tops and other returns. Can you provide a picture of the cubicle set up? If it's a panel cubicle, then we would use different equipment and also takes a different amount of time to move compared to the modular units.Do you require Packing? The listed items on your list is pretty standard 73 items. Cost on the 73 items is $850.00. We will definately want to use a 5 man man crew a couple 26 foot trucks. The average 4200 SF Offices with full disassembly and assembly can run an average of $4500.00 and will take a full day to complete items that include this :20 cubicles (72 in. wide x 49 in. high x 66 in. deep); 1 Galaga Machine; 2 Ping Pong tables; Kitchen items (Toaster oven, coffee pot & maker, coffee grinder, drying rack); Server rack (24 in. wide x 48 in. high x 40 in. deep); 6 white boards; 1 water cooler; 4 tables; 4 small tables (10/5/2007)
Question: are there any computers to disasimble? (10/4/2007)
Response: No, we will be taking care of the electronics. (10/5/2007)
Question: are you wanting to do this after hours or in the morning (10/4/2007)
Response: The move will be on the weekend, so there are no time constraints as long as it's completed on the weekend. (10/5/2007)
Question: Good Morning, Do you still require help with your shipment? Is this for a USHIP office move? (10/5/2007)
Response: Thanks for the question. Yes, we are still accepting bids for the uShip office move. (10/5/2007)
Response: Great. I would like to bid on this but I have a few more questions. I asked this one earlier yesterday but have received a response. The question is this....My Question: What type of Cubicles are these? Herman Miller? Steelcase? (10/4/2007) (10/5/2007)
Response: Herman Miller "Passage" workstations. Please note revise description. Thanks, and we look forward to your bid! (10/5/2007)
Response: Time consuming Item to take apart and put back together. We may need to do some of this Friday Sat or Saturday/Sunday. The price I am providing you with can be considered a cost not to exceed. I can provide you with this price as a BID,If the job takes 16 hours total cost will be $4000.00 Because I have can not actually survey the job, I have to shoot high. I will only charge you for the actual hours used when it is all said and done. For each labor hour not used I will deduct $187.50 per hour. So If the job is completed in 10 hours it will only cost you $2875.00. If this is acceptable to you I will place a formal bid for you. It will be a pleasure to serve you. (10/5/2007)
Response: How does 10 hours at $187.50 = 2875? Is there some kind of base price too? Understand the difficulty of fixed price bidding - what would your overall hourly rate be? (10/8/2007)
Response: (10/10/2007)
Question: Alright, I can somehow see the picture for the desk in the general listing, when I open the listing though, no picture appears. Let's go with the $4200.00 flat for this job. How does this sound to you? (10/5/2007)
Response: please review the revised description and place a bid. thanks! (the $4,200 sounds high but we'll see) (10/5/2007)
Response: I just tried to respond to this and typed nothing but words and and questions in reponse. I got a warning window pop up on me stating that I wrote content that is not allowed. I didn;t write anything other than proposing and hourly rate at $187.50 and a fixed rate of $1000.00 for Transport, Travel, Fuel, Trip Fees, Supplies, Lodging, Equipment, additional labor allowance. Hopefully this one can go through. Thanx (10/10/2007)
Response: OK, I just sent it to you for the flat rates cost. Please read all the wording carefully. Thanx Dave (10/10/2007)
Question: if you have any questions pleasee let me know thanks diane (10/6/2007)
Question: Your Question: Response: How does 10 hours at $187.50 = 2875? Is there some kind of base price too? Understand the difficulty of fixed price bidding - what would your overall hourly rate be? (10/8/2007) My Answer:) Yes there is have included the all truck, fuel, equipment and supply cost in this rate.I may use extra man power for disassembly and assembly of the stations so I accounted for this. I have provided you a cost not to exceed and have tried to provide you with some sort of extra discount to let you know that there is an option of the cost going lower. I am very experienced with the Herman Miller product line. I used to sell it! Hope this helps. We are based out of Houston, but we get to your area once a week. It would be a pleasure to serve you. Thanx-Dave (10/8/2007)
Response: Dave - do me a favor and rebid based on your best guess of hours and then we can add additional hours at the hourly rate if needed. How many guys will you have on the job? (10/10/2007)
Response: Thank-you for your request. Alright here is how it will read. $187.50 for 16 hours. $1000.00 for Transport, Travel, Fuel, Trip Fees, Supplies, Lodging, Equipment, additional labor allowance. Or I can bid this at $1000.00 for Transport, Travel, Fuel, Trip Fees, Supplies, Lodging, Equipment, additional labor allowance and labor at the rate of $187.50 per hour. 5 Men are included in the rate of $187.50. Hoe does this sound? (10/10/2007)
