Questions for this shipment:

Question: We will not bid on your shipment thank you (3/1/2007)
Question: Still need this moved ??? Can do this weekend !!! (3/1/2007)
Response: unfortunately the Copart lot there in Central Square (46 ZUK-PIERCE RD; CENTRAL SQUARE, NY 13036) is open 8-5 M-F. Can you pick it up before then? They have long fork loaders that can put it on your trailer or bed real easy and the drop off in Jersey City has loading dock and fork lifts. Another option is to get a trailer in the area (new or used) and have someone pull that; much easier I imagine; but I dont have anyone on the ground there. In any case, let me know! Do appreciate you responding. Kind regards, --Paul (3/1/2007)
Question: I have a couple trailers for sale if need be but as for p'up I can get it on Monday. (3/2/2007)
Response: yes that would work for me; I assume these are used trailers but in decent/usable shape? I would be interested in purchasing a trailer from you if it makes the haul easier (I would think so as they could fork load it on and you would just have to drop it off on the trailer). I could send you a picture of the boat if it makes any difference...std. 20 sterndrive (up position). Thanks again. --Paul (3/2/2007)
Question: Yes these are very good roadworthy trailers we sell.If you could send me a pic that would help me decide which trailer would work best. Joe (3/3/2007)
Response: I would send you a picture but this system doesnt allow attachments...std 20ft cuddy w/stern drive; single axle will work (the boat is approx 2500 lbs). what is your price for the trailer? Thanks. --Paul (3/3/2007)
Question: I can move this for you no problem. I can supply you a cradle for overseas shipping also. If this is something of interest get back to me. I will deliver it for 750.00 and cradles for shipping overseas are 450.00 Thank You Tom (3/3/2007)
Response: the cradles you have; are they narrow? that fit within 92" container door width? you make them yourself? yes I would be interested. Let me know. Thanks. --Paul (3/3/2007)
Question: Yes they are narrower than the boat. Yes i make them myself. Yes there will beno problems with them they come with straps included. The hardest part at NJersey is making sur you have a account to be able to get unloaded they usually want a letter or a fax from whatever company you are shipping with. Is this going to distribution street? Alright done many of these. Thank You Tom. Why dont you take it to Baltimore? Nicer to deal with there. (3/4/2007)
Response: Hello Tom, So what is your set up? do you have flat bed? If so you could easily load straight to the cradle and strap that down(?) (and then you would be able to just roll it off at the other end). In terms of the payment; is it possible to pay you directly? (I could wire the money for example) I do have an account with APA there in Jersey City (loading dock of warehouse is at 530 Duncan Ave) but typically I prepay the shipments coming through. What can you tell me about Baltimore? In Jersey CIty I have the possibility to send less than container loads. Thanks Tom. Kind regards, --Paul (3/4/2007)
Question: paul, i can get you moved this week, i know they kill you on storage at coparts. tom (3/4/2007)
Question: Paul i can move you this week. And i can store the boat for you if you are not ready to ship no charge.I have a regular boat trailer set up to put the cradle on with the boat on it then they just pick it up with the forklift. If you have an account set up then that is great that is the hard part. Is all the have for unloading is dock height i think they can unload right on the ground. As far as payment yes a wire will work. I am sure the boat trailers dont go in the containers without taking fenders and tires and hubs off. As far as baltimore you dont even use a container you just unload the boat and cradle and that is how it is shipped. They strap it down on the ship move t around with big forklift right on the trailer but maybe the ships do not go to your country so i do not know where you are from. Thank You Tom. If you want me to bid i will if you except then we talk on the phone or by email numbers and addresses exchanged when you except it. (3/4/2007)
Question: (3/4/2007)
Question: Paul tom again. I have a aluminum bunk style trailer so whatever is easier i cna put wheels on the cradle if you want never don it before because they usually unload with forklift i cna do it however you want whatever is cheaper i can lower my bid to if needed thank you Tom (atomic) see you are dealing with two Toms (3/4/2007)
Question: I have trailers priced from $400 to $800 that will fit in a 102 wide container w/o modifications. (3/4/2007)
Response: so, what can you tell me about the difference 400 to 800$? I dont mind having to work on it a bit, but the main thing that it has decent wheels, a good crank and bumpers (esp. the rubber that the craft's bow will lay against) and not overly heavy. The craft is approx. 2550 lbs. The standard container opening is 92" so I would have to remove the fenders and wheels to get it in (which is not the end of the world). Let me know what you think about you taking the job and selling me a trailer in the process that you use to transport it on. Is that a possibility Monday-Tuesday (or Wednesday)? Thanks. The delivery address for boat on a trailer would be: 545 Dowd Ave; Elizabeth, NJ 07201 --Paul (3/4/2007)
Question: Paul did you get my messages. Atomic Tom. I can do it this week whenever you want. Let me know i can make a cradle in a couple of hours. Thank You Atomic Tom (3/5/2007)
Question: The diff would be a painted steel trailer vs galvanized which would be the $800 one.As for the lights etc they are in working order and also this is a roller trailer that is easier to load and unload from.I can pick up the boat anyday this wk and keep it here at our yard(no charge) until all the paperwork for del is completed.$500 charge for transport.Hope this works for you ... (3/5/2007)
Response: Please provide a bid as starting Wednesday I start accruing storage. I would like the boat moved tomorrow if possible. THanks. (3/6/2007)
Question: Yes these are in the 1990's yr range. (3/5/2007)
Question: Paul, we govorite po-russki? Esli da, to mi mojem vam pomoch' s perevozkoi boat. Vi naverno bydete otpravlyat' s MTL? Daite mne znat'. Nikolay. (3/5/2007)
Question: Ok !!! I can arrange p'up for tomorrow for you. (3/6/2007)
Response: ok but I dont have a bit from you yet Joe. (3/6/2007)
Question: Paul you do now ..... Joe (3/6/2007)
