Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hi shipper. I could get both your vessels don anytime you're ready. Is there unloading available at drop off location? (3/14/2008)
Response: I can arrange unloading if necessary, as I had mentioned, I would like to see if I can get both boats on same load, that way it would save me a trip! thanks scott. Can you do both vessels on one load? (3/14/2008)
Response: Thanks for the quick answer... How are you transporting to Ottawa? I can put both boats on the same trailer one at a time and deliver in 48 hours? You can do an overnight? I think either way your going to be around the same cost 2 at once on big truck / trailer or 1 at a time small truck / trailer. (3/14/2008)
Response: NO, thank you for inquiring... so what would a cost be for both on one load, I was going to meet in Ogdensburg with 2 trucks, but may be easier just to ship to Ottawa....once I clear paperwork at customs. Depending on costs, I was willing to meet at the border, but may be open to shipping right to Ottawa, I am new at this Uship thing, so obviously trying to get a good deal, or I would also consider touring down to pick up my self, but time and fuel.....either way. I like the 48hour delivery...efficient! (3/14/2008)
Response: I see. Unfortunately we don't go into Canada because of paperwork, customs hassels and they always pull us over for dark tinted windows. I could run both bouts on the same trailer with 48 hour turn around (up with one back down and up with the 2nd) or we could do 2 trucks towing both or one towed the other trailered or any combination of the above... The least costly would be one truck doing 2 trips and I figure around $1,300 on a trailer or $1,000 towed on their own trailers. (3/14/2008)
Response: I would commit to paying $1000. to have both boats delivered to Ogdensburg, or Alexandria Bay (right at customs or close to it), I am just unaware of either trailer, what about one on a ramp truck, and towing the other one! (not sure what you have for equipment) I would just hate to get a call saying a tire is blown, or an bearing is blown!! thanks (3/14/2008)
Response: That was actually a typo as I meant to type $1,100.00. I certainly understand your thinking but if you're meeting at the border and towing home you need the trailers to be road worthy anyhow, aye? I do not have a ramp truck as we just run the Excursion, and E250's for hauling... Ogdensberg is a different location than 13637? Miles is money... If I send two trucks then I also have payroll so that's more $$$. Let's see what happens with your bids and we'll chat again. I am ready to roll anytime but do have other bids pending that might effect my available dates. I also know for a fact I will be in the pickup area without my trailer on 4/3 so even if one is towable I could grab one then if they time frame allows and you don't have it handled yet. (3/14/2008)
Response: I don't mind picking them up from Ogdensburg, or 13637 (evans mills) what ever is convenient, that is only about an hour from my place, and I don't mind risking the trailers my self, I would be prepared with spares, etc, I would just hate to inflick that on to anyone else! thanks for your time, keep me in mind, if I get confirmation on the trailers, I will let you know! (3/14/2008)
Response: Good deal. We also can be prepared with spares and I am an experienced boater (read my feedback) so anything the trailers need we can prep for. Tools, grease gun, bearings, jack, jack stands and magnetic lights are all standard items in my truck. If we know the tire size I can take a spare or two with me (your expense) and you'll have them already there. (3/14/2008)
Response: is that your flat deck in the picture....how about strapping the 16'er on the flat deck, and double your money!!! (3/14/2008)
Response: Yes that's my tilt bed trailer but since it's a tilt it has no ability to mount a receiver at the back so it can't piggy back. (3/14/2008)
Question: is the trailer road worthy ????? thanks (3/14/2008)
Response: not sure if I had answered, but I was told it was road worthy, but I am always hesitant unless I had spare tires, and a grease gun handy. sorry not much of an answer, I would hate to say yes, then deal with a blown bearing. scott. (3/14/2008)
Response: if it can be towed it will save you money.... I can do this for you towed on your trailer for 500 .... let me know ... thanks Frank (3/14/2008)
Response: Hey Frank, it is fully towable (the 20' Baja, I just confirmed, are we able to do a deal, and if so, pass on your number, and when would you be picking it up. (3/14/2008)
Response: I can pick it up when you or it is ready and delivery 24hrs after .... let me know and i will put in my bid ... thanks Frank (3/14/2008)
Response: ooops, i sent you my phone number, and i got rejected.....again, new at this... anyhow, I can confirm, when is good to pick up ,this weekend? anychance of setting the 16'er on the back deck and strapping it down without the wheels? Just a thought! (3/14/2008)
Response: I cant help you out with the other one if it cant be towed ....sorry but as far as this one ... I can pic up the 16th or 17th and deliver same day depending on pick up .... or the 22nd and deliver the 23rd .... let me know which works for you ...my bid of 500 is in ... thanks frank (3/14/2008)
Response: I spoke with Bob at Pick up destination, he is around tomrrow March 16th, and said it would be fine to pick up, as long as you contact him about 3 hours prior to pick up to arrange. I will get him to give you the documants for me. We can agree on a meeting spot for delivery. If March 16th works, please let me know a Estimated Time to meet! thanks, scott. (3/15/2008)
