Question: FYI - as per uShip rules, bid rated all inclusive per posting info: “Business to Residential” with liftgate delivery curbside ... Shipper (consignor) to load palletized item(s) to back of truck & Consignee to receive / unload same from liftgate ... Do you have any questions or require rate and/or service clarification?? ... If so, then please ask before accepting ... THX (P.S. - Cost savings can often be realized by consignee picking-up shipment at carrier’s terminal location so as to avoid residential, limited access and/or liftgate accessorial charges ... Terminal location for shipment’s destination within 18 miles of ZIP 33914 ... advise if this would be a preferable option and will re-bid to suit.) (10/31/2008)
Response: hi, clicked on all that looked right to me, It boils down to : Pickup is "distribution center" I would presume that they will forklift (if needed) this on truck. Delivery is curbside, because of weight I think its preferable with liftgate. 206 pounds is a handfull.. If costsaving is considerable, then pickup from dist. center close to 33914 could be an option. Uhaul is availiable.. :-) (10/31/2008)
Response: understand & would estimate $290 as shipment to destination terminal (or to near by business location with dock or forklift to use as a "drop-shipment" location) ... destination terminal will load items into p/u truck or onto small trailer if you can source a neighbor to help in the process ... anyway, advise if this would be perferable option and will re-bid ... Question: shipper i will be in houston thur morning i have a boat to haul back to fl but i have a 8' bed on my pu truck.if theses can be loaded into it i will haul them back and deliver on sat for 350.00 thx ray (11/4/2008)
