Additional Information: I need the two bikes plus a very small amount of personal goods moved. I had originally lined up a 10 ft Uhaul to transport home goods myself but am interested in getting all of this done together in one go if it can be accommodated for. In addition to the bikes, my personal stuff to be moved consists of basically a bunch of boxes, queen mattress, couch, a 10ft Uhaul is adequate space for comparison. No bed, furniture, etc. Ideally I would like to transport all in one shipment and drive my car out to meet you. I can be flexible on load/unload dates but must be moved out of my AZ residence by 8/31. Please message with any questions, thanks! Report a Violation

Question:

Hi Chris. My 20ft box truck with liftgate will be coming back from Tempe AZ on 26th August (morning) could pick up your 2 motorcycles and your extra items, but would just need confirmation exactly of what the extra items are. Amount of Boxes and sizes, and whatever else you are wanting to be put on the truck. are there stairs involved? you will be able to help my driver carry / load? Dewlivery in Los Angeles could be same day (26th) or next day. We are based near LAX, so could bring to you a day later. Let's also talk money. Budget wise? I am thinking 450-495 to get this done for you. Let me know your thoughts. Happy to oblige. Cheers! Dalia / Reel Moves Inc (TAdrid)Report a Violation
Response: Hi, Thanks for the offer, I will be unable to load until the 30th, have the bikes in the shop on that day. Let me know if anything else changes on your end. Thanks! Chris8/22/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hey Chris. Oh well. Nothing will change on our end. We are heading to Temps for sure for another job for our client, so looking to fill available space on our truck. All our shipments are opportune loads on routes we are already taking. Let me know if things on your end change though ;) Cheers! Dalia / Reel Moves Inc (TAdrid)8/22/2014Report a Violation
Question:

Hi Chris, It doesn't sound like you'd be able to get both bikes, a mattress, couch, and a bunch of boxes into a 10' Uhaul trailer. However, I'm here to save the day! I have a 30' stakebed trailer that I use every month to haul bikes and other cargo with. It can easily haul what you have. Do you have a budget? You timing works for me, & I can deliver the following day after p/u. Please check out our pristine feedback.Report a Violation
Response: Hi! Sorry for the confusion with my trailer estimates, I meant that my stuff minus the bikes could probably fit into a '10, '14 would be more roomy. That aside, if you can fit everything in your trailer, would be perfect. Basically I am moving out of a condo whose lease is up 31st. So long as everything is loaded by then, I can give a bit more flexibility receiving on the other end. Time is a bit pressing and my emergency backup is renting a 14 foot uhaul for apartment+car tow, ship bikes separately, pain in the butt!! I am on a budget and am happy to provide any more information you need to come to a mutual agreement. Let me know if you need proper dimensions of the bulkier stuff(mattress, sofa, bbq grill). Everything else is either boxes, duffles, and a couple bookshelves that will be broken down. Thanks and lets keep talking! Chris8/23/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hi Chris, A few ?'s: Are both homes on the ground level? What's the parking situation like at each location? (I'm 51' long w/my trailer attached - aka: Queen Mary). I travel by myself. Would you be available at both locations to assist w/loading & unloading? I prefer to deliver to Van Nuys the following day after I pickup & we load your items.8/23/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hi, Not sure if my last message went through and wanted to double check, couldn't locate the sent replies in my email thread. My AZ condo is second floor although I plan to have everything packed and waiting in the garage on the ground. Condo is in an off-street cluster so problems with parking and you can drive the truck right up to the garage. Destination in North Hollywood is a row of condos on a residential street. There are five steps up from the curb and a walkway to the front ground level door, very easy with a dolly/cart. I've loaded/unleaded from this location before and is pretty hassle free. There is a fire lane strip directly in front of the building for temp parking that I always use, just do it quick and no problems I will be able to assist with the loading and unloading, may pick up an extra hand or two at the destination. Please let me know what you are thinking for cost, I would like to work something out together. thanks Chris8/24/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hi Chris, [contact information request removed] The closer I can get, the less time will be involved and the cheaper it will be. About how many boxes will you have? Any refers or large furniture?8/24/2014In Violation
Response: Sure, phx location is: [address removed] Scottsdale AZ 85250 Destination: [address removed] North Hollywood CA 91606 Probably about 15-20 boxes. I'll take dimensions of the sofa and get back to you. Thanks. Chris8/24/2014In Violation
Response: Thanks Chris, that helps a lot! I don't think the p/u location will pose any problems. But the drop location might. I take it there's NO parking along the long side of the building? If not, there's a large parking lot backed up to the end of the building w/access off Lankershim. I just can't tell if there is access from there onto the condo property due to the trees. Do you know if that parking lot is for your condo tenants? I'm 51' long w/my trailer hooked up, so I have to think ahead a bit. Finding a 51' parking space out on Hazelhurst, might be like dealing to an inside straight. 8/24/2014Not in Violation
Response: Hi, Correct, p/u location will be a breeze, going to miss AZ for this! For the drop off, the only access point is on hazelhurst at the front gate. There is a driveway that leads down to all the garages but I'm safely assuming you don't want to back down there...very steep. All the lots you see around the buildings are for other places. The only thing to really do is park as close as possible to the curb, unload fast, and move on. This goes on all the time on Hazelhurst from cargo vans to full size moving trucks. It's LA, what to do? Last resort is I rent a pickup around the corner at uhaul and we ferry a few loads from a nearby parking lot. As you can see, there's a HUGE Macy's on Oxnard and Laurel canyon, this place is always a ghost town. Or anywhere in the surrounding blocks for that matter. Sofa measurements(sofa+chase lounge) Sofa (feet) 6 x 3 x 2'4 chase 2'10 x 5'2 x 2'4 arms x 2(detached) '4 x 3'6 x 2 x 2'2 Chase can be laid upside down on sofa with cushio8/24/2014Report a Violation
Response: Yes, you are correct, I don't want to back down there. (Can't see the slope on google earth.) Are there some sort of parking constraints/time limits for parking at the curb on Hazelhurst?8/25/2014Report a Violation
Response: You can park there as long as you want, just as long as the meter fairy doesn't come by! You won't find "legal" parking on the curb for a truck your size unless you follow the street sweeper on cleaning days. The firelane that I always back up into when needing to move is probably 10-15 feet long. Really the only options are to park in the street or in a nearby lot and ferry things. I think it's safe to say that there will be no problem, people are doing this all the time and it's really the only way....I've never seen a meter maid on the street.8/25/2014Report a Violation
Response: Chris, I'd prefer to park at the curb in front of the building if possible. If for some reason I can't we'll go w/your other option and ferry things. I also think your idea of getting some additional help might be a good idea. I can also supply a large refer dolly for stacked boxes. I'll post a bid for you a little later.8/25/2014Report a Violation

Response: Hi, No problem I thought it was ok too, I thought this fell under the "logistics" side of things for shipment coordination. I see you bid, thanks. Would you be willing to do $800? If so I will lock this in ASAP. Also, do you have all the appropriate tie-downs for the bikes as well as blankets to protect? Thanks, chris8/26/2014Not in Violation
Response: Hi Chris, Of course this falls under the category of "logistics". After all, if a transporter can't get his vehicle into the exact location for p/u or drop off, and has to park ten blocks away just to do that, it's going to affect the cost. Not sure if these "paper pushers" are smart enough to realize that though. Yes, I can do $800 and since I haul bikes every month, I have plenty of tie downs, soft ties, and blankets. I'll re-submit a new bid for you. Thanks!8/26/2014Report a Violation

I've placed a bid only for the Bikes. Sorry no personal goods. Thanks Giuliano THE FINEST CARRIERReport a Violation
Response: Thanks for the bid, it's out of my range though, I've transported them for almost half this price in the past. I will still take lower bids for the bikes though as my transportation logistics is still a bit up in the air.8/25/2014Report a Violation

Question:

Hi Chris and thank you for the chance to bid on your bikes! I am headed to vegas via L.A. at the end of this week and would love to transport your Ducati. I have a Monster and a BMW cruiser already going, and have room for your two! I wouldn't mind if you put a few things in the back of my truck bed, but my bid is just for the bikes. Let me know if this works for you, and I will place a MUCH lower bid than u are getting. Thanks again, JerryReport a Violation
