Questions for this shipment:

Question: HI would this little guys be ready to go on 5/12 If so I would love to take them to vt. Please let me know as soon as you can so ( can complete plans thank you and I look forward to working for you Art P ALH T (5/3/2009)
Response: Hi: I'm not sure if they would be ready by then or not, they have all their shots, but still need a coggins. I'm also not sure about the transport fee as I'm just getting them as companions for my filly, if the fee is too high, I'll probably just pass on them. I should know more by tomorrow. Thanks, Amy (5/3/2009)
Response: HI I am headed that way end of may also so perhaps we could work something out then please let me know thanks again art bid could be reduced a lot art ALH (5/4/2009)
Response: Hi: Do you have a time frame that you'll be heading up here? I'm not in a rush to get them, but am only getting them as companions for my Clydesdale filly. I realize it's a 700+ mile trip, but can't rationalize spending alot on shipping as they are just coming up as pets, so would most likely just not get them if shipping is too high. Thanks so much, Amy (5/4/2009)
Response: hi would 575 work for you?Let me know and I will bid it for next week art alh T (5/4/2009)
Question: Just wondering how muuch you would feel comfortable in paying to ship them and I might be able to work around it. What part of Danville are they going? Lived in Littleton for 15 years and still have a home there. (5/3/2009)
Response: Let me chat with my husband and I'll get back to you by tomorrow if that's okay? We live in North Danville, VT. Thanks so much again, Amy (5/3/2009)
Response: That is fine with me. Cindy (5/4/2009)
Response: Hi Cindy, When are you looking to do the haul? These little gals won't be ready much before the middle of next week. They are up to date on shots, but need a coggins. Sounds like it takes 3-5 days with her vet. If you can wait on your end, then maybe we can work something out. Cost wise, honestly, I was thinking in the $400(ish)range, but that may be less than what you can do the trip for, if so, can you send me a bottom figure for the haul? Thanks so much again, Amy (5/4/2009)
Response: The earliest that I could pick them up would not be till around the 12th of May and also the fee is fine with me. I will not bid until I hear back from you. Cindy (5/4/2009)
Response: That all sounds great! Let me touch base with the gal who has the donkeys about the coggins and such before you place a bid, I want to get a better idea of time frame for all the paperwork first. Do you require a health certificate as well, or just a coggins? I'll be in touch as soon as I figure things out on this end. Thanks again, Amy (5/4/2009)
Response: A health certificate would be smart. Could you ask the gal if she would mind assisting in loading the two mini donkeys. Will she be sending their lead ropes and halter as well? as many time as I have driven back n forth down to Bristol, VA hauling my daughter horses for college, I have never been asked. But however lately with the swine flu some state have been picky. (5/4/2009)
Response: Hi Cindy, She will be taking them to the vet Wed or Thurs to get the coggins and health certificates. I would think from the sounds of things, she could have the vet work back by the beginning of next week, but I don't have a confirmation on that until I talk with the vet office myself. I asked her for the vet's contact info, so when I get it, I can call them myself and get a better idea of time frame. They will have halters on, just not sure on lead ropes. It sounds like one leads well, the other doesn't, however, she said they are small enough that her husband can just lift them and put them in the trailer if it's an issue!(-: So, I would tell you it's not a concern, and yes, sounds like she and her husband will both be around for the pick up. That's it for now, but I should know more by tomrorow. Thank you again, Amy (5/4/2009)
Response: That soumds great with me. I will not submit a bid until I know for sure. I would appreciate any help with the Donkeys. I know from past experiences, they can be quite stubbon. And the best way to catch one is with a bucket of grain. (5/5/2009)
Response: Hi Cindy, Just waiting to see what day she is taking the donkeys to the vet for HC and coggins...I should know this afternoon. I called the vet office down there myself, they said it takes about a week to get results, they can fax them if necessary. So, if she can get them to the vet tomorrow or Thursday, the soonest they would be ready is mid-end of next week. Is that going to work for your schedule? I'll let you know as soon as I have a vet date. I'm certain they'll both be there to help with the donkeys, sounds like she is very attached to these little critters. Talk soon, Amy (5/5/2009)
Response: That will be ok. Have her let you know as soon as she can. I can be in the area late Wed, May 13th. I need to be up in the Littleton area by Friday afternoon since I have to be in Boston on Sat, May 16th. From Littleton to Bristol, VA it used to take me approx 24 hours with a few stop along the way. Cindy (5/5/2009)
Response: Just got an e-mail from her, she is planning to take them tomorrow morning to the vet. I guess they don't take appts, so she basically just has to show up and wait! If anything changes, I'll let you know, but if she can get them there tomorrow, I can't imagine the coggins wouldn't be all set by next Wed. I'll touch base with you tomorrow with an update. Thanks, Amy (5/5/2009)
Question: We have a trip coming from VA to NY the week of May 13th. Can you meet us to pick up in NY state on our route, perhaps near Albany NY? Let me know. Griffinsburg Equine Transport (5/4/2009)
