Questions for this shipment:
Question:
would you be willing to meet in pembina n. dakota. i could pick up wed and deliver for 1700.00, thanks (5/15/2008)
Response:
If you picked up the trailer on Wednesday, when could you have it in Pembina? (5/15/2008)
Question:
I can tow them on May 25th or the 26th and meet you ND in 3 days COD in US Funds. Please read my profile and feedback. Thanks walbert52 (5/15/2008)
Response:
I dont understand your offer. The canoes need to leave Spokane, WA on May 20 or 21 and arrive in Winnipeg, Canada on May 22 or the 23rd. The trailer will be left in Canada. Does that work for you? Thanks John (5/15/2008)
Response:
I'm sorry I'm in SC heading to NY to drop off a boat and towing one from NY to Garden City, ID then I can go to Spokana. I though it was going to be delivered to the border in Pembina, ND. Please let me know Thanks walbert52 (5/16/2008)
Question:
I am considering the shipment. I could be in Spokane 20th or 21st. I am wondering about the ease at the border with this shipment. Have you shipped into Canada in this manner in the past? (5/16/2008)
Response:
I have done this myself before. I took, to the same people, a 26' birchbark canoe and 4 16' birchbark canoes. They had the paperwork waiting at the border with their customs agent. The whole process took about 45 minutes to an hour. If you could depart on the 21st, when would you arrive in Winnipeg if you decided to do this? Also what price to bring it all the way to Winnipeg? Thanks, John (5/16/2008)
Question:
Are you ok with receiving in Pembina. I do not cross into Canada. Thanks Ron (5/16/2008)
Response:
Hi Ron, I might be if there is no one that will take it to Winnipeg. It should be an easy trip across the border - they will have their customs broker ready with the paperwork right at the border. You would need a passport however. (5/17/2008)
Response:
I keep meaning to get one but have not yet. (5/17/2008)
Response:
If you can only go to the border, how much and when could you pick up and deliver? (5/17/2008)
Response:
It's only 70 Miles from Pembina to Winnipeg. Won't change. Just filled up my 350 today in Az where I live, $ 4,69 Per Gallon 120 Gallons = $ 562.00. May have to retire. It is going to keep going up I know ! (5/17/2008)
Response:
Can you pick up on Wednesday am and drop off Friday am or is that too much of a push? (5/18/2008)
Response:
I am sorry but I am too busy at this time. (5/18/2008)
Question:
hi john, i could possibly pick up on the 20th for you and deliver to pambina for your target price. shall we throw knives again? let me know, greg (5/18/2008)
Response:
Hi Greg, Good to hear from you! I have to check with people in Winnipeg. Right now they don't have anyone to bring it from Pembina to Winnipeg but possibly I could create that via Uship. I can let you know tomorrow. Thanks, John ps - knive and tomahawk throwing is definitly happening (5/19/2008)
Question:
Could both fit inside a 24 ft Budget truck even protruding 4ft? (5/19/2008)
Response:
Perhaps. They are 5 ft across. Can you take it to Winnipeg? (5/19/2008)
Response:
I can take them to Winnepeg as long as you use a broker. I have my own PARS labels. THe inside of the truck is 7.5ft wide and has a 7.5ft height clearance. (5/19/2008)
