Response: yes, they are coming from colorado,my ex,wont bring them here,as its out of his way to texas. i agreed to find a hauler to come get them in salina.i do not have a horse trailer right now to go get them,so thats why i am trying to get a price. i can not get him pinned down on the exact date yet.but early december is what he told me.you would be getting horses from the owner,not another hauler. he will then turn south to texas.and yes., they will have their paperwork with them. i understand about your timeing..yo gotta do,what ya gotta do. mimi (11/9/2009)

Response: that is a good idea, i think maybe using a forked stick and pinning his head down might work too. i heard one sentance from him yesterday: you will know,when i know.geez........i feel like i am putting all you haulers in a bind,just waiting. me too. these two horses would benifit with a layover, as they are seniors as well. december in iowa, is not the best time for them to even come here. i have also asked him for measurements for blankets i want to buy,before they get here.it got down to -30 here on the farm last winter. well, i just dont know about folks anymore,ya know what i mean? mimi (11/12/2009)
