Response: Hi Kevin, Lovely feedback! Timing is pretty flexible. This can fit in between a tighter-scheduled trip. I've only shipped commercial once but found that taking that approach was a win-win - it let me save money, and the hauler filled a load and so made money. I don't want to jerk you around, so to be frank I'm exploring here. I usually haul them myself from our farm in VT, and full board while I am in FL, but this year we think it might be better to ship the horses from RI (my folks live in RI so I'd bring the horses down from VT for Thanksgiving and ship from there) while we fill the gooseneck with hay, and come down with/after them. How busy are you in the Nov/Dec timeframe and does that sound like it would work well for you? (11/1/2009)
