Do you need the dogs crated with crates provided. What kind of vehicle will you be transporting them in.
The dogs do not need to be crated. We are driving down there in a 2005 Dodge Ram Quad Cab pickup, and they will have the back seats all to themselves. I prefer letting them have the back seat, over crating them, because it is such a long drive. This way, they can be petted and reassured the whole trip, instead of being stuffed in a crate for 1900 miles.
That's awesome.. Since he was a baby, Charlie would not go into a crate, and would not allow his toys to be either. They love to ride and travel very well. They have both made 12 hour trips multiple times. Tinkerbell wants to be in your lap the whole time though. But you can make her stay in the back. Charlie will be fine. I have a Ford F150 Full Cab, and that's what they are used to. Is there anything else you will need. Food, health certs, etc.
Food and water bowls would be good, and enough of their favorite food to make the trip. Leash, collars and/or harnesses as well.
If Tinkerbell wants to ride on a lap the whole trip, that's ok! They both will get plenty of live and attention the whole trip!
So incredibly cool. They are great dogs and will travel well
I firmly believe there is no such thing as a bad dog! We will enjoy having Charlie and Tinkerbell on this trip with us!
