Question: We are based 45-50 miles south of you and head that way about twice a month at the moment.
As for "Delivery: Flexible" We would be able to give 24-36 hour notice of delivery
with a window of arrival of 1 hour. We would need to know if this would work for you,
prior to us bidding on your job. Thank-you in advance, Jim (4/1/2008)

Response: Hi Jim, this would work for me. Are you still interested in giving me a quote? I would like to firm up my travel plans once I hear from you. Thanks for your response. (4/2/2008)

Response: YEs, and sorry for my late reply... I was in Chicago most of the day yesterday. We're still 3 wweks out, but let me look at the schedule. I know we are loading a big load Friday in Madison but that's not within your load window. We hit DeForest twice a week in straight trucks.. I'll get back to you these eve... I should be back ny 6pm... Thx again, Jim...6:31am... (4/3/2008)

Question: Good morning, and sorry I wasn't able to get back to you last eve. I printed your listing yesterday and tossed it to one of the drivers that make the Texas runs, and I also looked thru the schedule. As mentioned, your pick-up dates are still 3 weeks out, and we are unable to "pin-point" a pick up date. We have one truck leaving for Houston and east Texas Monday. I myself will be helping a driver load 18,300 in Cambridge today...so it will be another long day for me. He had asked me to ask you if either of the the couches were "sleeper sofas" or any of the shipment were recliners? His other question was at the Texas end, if it all went to a "first floor" ( no stairs involved ) as we'd have to line up help at the other end. Thx again, and please understand doing things here "sight unseen" and without verbal communication is pretty dang hard to finalize quickly, but we do run there quite often. Thx again, Jim 5:06amCST (4/4/2008)

Response: Jim, The couches are not sleeper sofas and the chair is not a recliner. You would not have to "line up help" at the Texas end. Both my husband and are available to help. I will be in Waunakee April 23-27. Need to fly out on the 28th back to TX. The dimensions of the leather furniture are:couch 74"L34"H39"D, chair 34"L32"H32D, ottoman 24"L12"H18"D. Dimensions of the off white fabric couches 85"L25"H36"D, and 60"L25"H36"D. The box will be packed with a set of dishes. I hope this helps and that you can do this for me. I hope to hear from you soon and good luck! (4/4/2008)

Response: OUCH (smile), Sounds like you are down there already? Here's where we are at right now, as mentioned the 23/27 is still a couple weeks out. Have one driver going to Houston area and he'd be leaving next weekend. Worked with him all day yesterday, and just called him with your info/dates etc...and said as for this trip... He'd be able to load it this Wednesday. ( We have a job up that way then to load) My question would be if you had any friends/relatives/neighbors etc...that would be able to let them in to load this week? Other than that...(laugh) Still a little too far out to be able to give you a delivery time frame, but as I mentioned prior... we're up in Waukesha area 1-2 times a week, and Texas twice a month. Thx again for the reply, and looking forward to yours. :-) Jim 7:38amCST (4/5/2008)

Response: Hi Jim. I would be able to make arrangments to have someone let you in to pick up my stuff. What I am attempting to do is clean out my mother's estate for my bro and I have sold her house. My question is will my furniture be shrink wrapped? Two of the couches are off white and the other 3 items are leather. They will need protecting. As far the box is concerned, I may have to find another way to get it here for it is not packed yet. What is the price to move this to TX? (4/5/2008)

Response: Thx again for the reply... OK, so there's 5 pcs of furniture now?...Listed is 4 ?? First oif all, the fabric couches will be shrink wrapped and padded on the truck. The leather, you "don't" shrink wrap, as it could sweat and bleed the coloring. They'd be padded also w/ the the best furniture pads available on the market ( Is all we use ) This whole shipment would also be set on there legs/feet...on decking above our tool box loads that run that way. As for price? I'll have to get back to you this afternoon on that, but need to clarify 4 -vs- 5 now?... And what is the access like on both ends? Stairs> All items first floor to first floor? Semi-truck freindly? We'd grab the WI more than likely in a smaller straight truck... Very hard to give a price with so many unkowns, and you don't stay in this type of business for 102 tears....doing things for a losing price :-) Thx again for the treply, jim beloit (4/5/2008)

Response: Hi Jim, my shipment title lists 5 pieces, 2 couches, 1 loveseat, 1 ottoman and 1 chair. I sent you a previous answer in which I listed the dimensions for the furniture. If you did not receive that please let me know and I can resend you the dimensions. All items first floor to first floor. There is one step up to a small porch and one step up to enter the front at the Waunakee home but no other stairs. My home in Richmond is single story, no steps and will be placed in our garage. Both locations are semi-truck friendly meaning the Waunakee house is very close to the street and the house in Richmond we can move from the street as well for I do not know how heavy the truck is. Smaller straight trucks can utilize either driveway. I am available to answer all your unknows and I am not asking that you lose $ on this. It is my understanding that this is a very small load and it would accompany other items. Thank you for your attention and please get back to me if you have more questions. RT (4/5/2008)
